Vegan friendly - Edit
There were several vegan options, and even a GF vegan cake as well. We had the vegan breakfasts, a cake and oat lattes. Food was very nice and the coffee was very tasty (and I'm fussy with coffee!). The staff were friendly and also great to hear them enthusiastic about their vegan options.

Great little spot right on the beach front! Lots of vegan options and doesn’t charge extra for nondairy milk. Super friendly owner who said that about 25% of their sales are now vegan and she is experimenting with even more options for homemade vegan cakes!

Lovely seafront cafe - Edit
We stumbled across the cafe by chance and didn’t expect there to be any options but there were a few! We had the vegan burger and the jacket potato with cheese, beans and mushrooms. The jacket potato was delicious!!
Read moreThey also had ice cream. They are located right on the seafront so our daughter was able to play while we waited for our food 😋

Excellent full cooked vegan breakfast and drinks. My daughters even had a diary free milkshake with whipped cream. Very impressed with passionate and super helpful owners!!lots of choice for dinner too so we will certainly be back! 👌🏽

The owner of this place (Lesley) is fantastic - super friendly and explained her approach to the vegan options such as the mushrooms and the mash as, “you may as well make it vegan, the other customers won’t notice” - damn right! Such a good approach!

The location on Happy Cow is wrong though - this place is on the beach between Holland-on-Sea and Clacton. Well worth seeking out, great sea view
