We came because we have been dying to have some donuts and since we are vegan, we are so thankful you had three flavors we could have! We got a box of 2 glazed, 1 strawberry and 1 Apple fritter. Ate the glazed first and we about died!!! These vegans are so happy! Thanks Five Daughters!

A typical glaze, a untypical apple fritter and Huckleberry donut. A glaze of Huckleberry over the donut was good.

Vegan Doughnuts!! - Edit
Five Daughters always has about a half dozen vegan doughnuts to choose from. Flavors rotate each month (seasonal options are updated on their website each month and are located under the Yeast Raised Seasonal Flavors section). I have tried the Vegan Purist and Vegan Chocolate doughnuts and they were delicious.
Read moreThe shop is located in the same shopping area of other vegan/vegan friendly places which include Jeni's Ice Cream, Graze, and Ugly Mugs Coffee which has vegan milk options (almond, soy, oat, coconut). There is also a nice little seating area outside.

Good vegan sweets - Edit
I’m generally skeptical about vegan baked goods but they have really come a long way since I first tried them 6 years ago. I don’t have a sweet tooth but I really enjoyed their vegan donut. I would not have guessed that it was vegan if I hadn’t known.

Wonderful!! - Edit
So happy we came here! I’ve been vegan for two years, and these are the best donuts!!! I had the purist, blueberry lavender, and cinnamon purist. They are not overly sweet, which I really like. The donuts are very thick! I got three but I really only needed 1 and a half or 2. My boyfriend is non-vegan and he said the non-vegan donuts are overly sweet. He couldn’t finish any of his donuts.

Looking for an instagram worthy spot? Five daughters has you covered. Super cute bakery, and they always seem to have a few vegan options available. A great dessert place to stop in at after eating at one of the vegan friendly places next door.

Limited vegan options, but options nonetheless - Edit
Was disappointed to find that the vegan offering is not the same as the "100 layer doughnuts" everyone raves about; instead, Five Daughters offers up a different sort of "standard" vegan glazed doughnut. They were definitely delicious, though I was more impressed by some flavors than others (maple all the way).

Unique and Delicious - Edit
We split the Blackberry Ginger 100-Layer and the PBJ Brioche (vegan). Both are suuuuuper amazing delicious. Their signature 100-Layer donuts are "100 layers of croissant." They are brilliant and maniacal. Service was welcoming and friendly. Lovely shop.

Yummy doughnuts! - Edit
So far I've had the cherry, chocolate, maple, and the original glazed (it's got a different name but I can't remember it at the moment). I've never been disappointed. And the one i go to is right next to Jeni's ice cream so I normally get a scoop of vegan sorbet and a doughnut and it's beautiful.
