No longer offering vegan donuts but do have other desserts. - Edit
UPDATE: Peaceful Provisions is no longer baking in their kitchen (they opened a storefront in Peekskill) so they now carry a variety of other vegan baked goods as well as vegan empanadas.
Read moreFirst Village Coffee is a comfy little coffee house with good music and vegan food/baked goods. They have three alternative milks including the choice of oat milk, some of the specials automatically come with alternative milks like oat milk in them instead of cows milk. Also worth mentioning Good Choice Kitchen is only a few doors down so it’s convenient if you are going to one or in the area. There is limited FREE parking in the lot directly across the street from them and the post office but if you don’t come at rye right time you might not be able to grab a space.

The most amazing vegan donuts ever! - Edit
I first tried Peaceful Provisions donuts a few yrs ago at Eat Drink Vegan and I was blown away! Once I found out that they were selling at First Village I immediately told all of my local vegan friends lol. I'm always so impressed with how delicious and light the donut is. Usually donuts aren't as soft a day after they are made, but Peaceful Provisions donuts stay soft and delicious.

OMG!!! Amazing!! - Edit
Love the fact that this coffee house has Peaceful Provisions baking on site!! The coffee is really just perfect and love the raspberry iced tea. The place itself has a great atmosphere and has tons of art by local artists. Peaceful Provisions is by far the best to date in terms of Vegan Donuts!! They alternate the flavors and donuts are offered on Tues/Thurs/Saturday. I got to try the cake donut with mixed berry glaze and pineapple drizzle, blueberry frosted yeast donut with rainbow sprinkles and peanut butter frosted yeast donut with chocolate sprinkles!! Love the fact that the flavors are creative and unique! They have other vegan treats daily. Brought the donuts to my Omnivore friends and they LOVED them. My son had the chocolate cupcake and devoured it in seconds. Their strawberry pop tart/hand pies are fabulous and I can’t wait to try more flavors. Loved the strawberry ginger scone as well. I live about a half hour away and will be making this place a weekly stop.

TWO WORDS - PEACEFUL PROVISIONS - Edit
First Village Coffee has teamed up with Peaceful Provisions bakery and has them baking ON SITE! Right now, they have Vegan baked goods available on Wednesdays and Fridays- but are looking to expand this. The Peaceful Provision donuts are HEAVEN on Earth- especially when teamed up with First Village coffee offerings! I have yet to try the other baked goods- today there were triple layer brownies and pumpkin or cinnamon rolls. The coffee shop also has all sorts of dairy-free milks to offer you for your beverage of choice!

Cons: tight squeeze in there, limited seating , Pay for parking, Vegan baked goods may run out- they are that good!
