Fantastic Scandinavian vegan food!

This place is a real gem. It’s very vegan friendly. Staff was great and food is clearly labelled vegan. Atmosphere and decor of the restaurant are nice too. Food was excellent and healthy. Service was also fast.

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Great staff, Nice atmosphere

Phenomenal food

Beautiful vegan options - would give five stars if I could.
Service was amazing - big shoutout to Nish & Will for making our visit extra special; ambiance was beautiful and the food was magnificent. I loved the juxtaposition of flavours and everything we had was wonderful.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Great experience

Visited for the 2 course dining offer pre 6pm for an early dinner, we also ended up sharing a dessert because the food was so good! Service was impeccable, really chilled atmosphere but with great attention to explaining the food, wine etc. The restaurant has been beautifully designed and looks 👌 Most importantly the food tasted amazing, more vegan options than not and a small menu that has been carefully thought through with healthy portion sizes. I went for the wine pairing, one wasn't vegan but they found an excellent su substitute. I really suggest visiting here if you are in Leeds.

Pros: Fresh food , Great service , Atmosphere

Early bird menu

Great place for an early dinner. Excellent service from the waiter (called Jake I think??) who was friendly and attentive. While the price will be too high and the portions on the small side for many, the early bird deal (£22 for 2 courses before 6pm) makes it well worth it for the extremely high quality of vegan food available. The bread, the Jerusalem artichoke soup and the Kaldoma were the stars of the show.

Small portions and expensive

The place is lovely and cozy and the staff were really nice, but it was expensive for what you got and the service was quite slow. The food itself was nice enough, but I’ve had much better for less money.

Not worth the price point

The taste is just okay and the portions were quite small and it wasn't cheap either. I prefer other places. Skip this places and go to laynes instead. Much better food

Poor service

Ok so I visited this place recently, found the male member of staff very rude think he is one of the owners, the female staff were great , so I ordered my drink and food, eventually it came , it was the smallest portion of food I have ever been served, even the cups of tea took ages to arrive.
The cafe it’s self is far too full of table space so annoying as their prices are on a par with London, they have a tiny area just as you go through the door , wow that’s like playing musical chairs as we had our drink before a table came available to eat, you could not sit comfy for your drink. Now to the prices they are rediculously high, there are better places with better food in Leeds and much better prices , even the table next to us were discussing the cost, so hence I didn’t leave a tip no no , will not return , our table for 2 cost over £30 for drinks and a small brunch will not be going again , they have the nerve to have a tips pot 🙁🙁🙁🙁

Pros: None, None, None

Cons: Lots, And lots more even more , Ooh can’t be bothered

I’ll fettle for the price

Stylish and minimalist place with unique vegan friendly brunch style dishes. We shared a spiced tofu scramble on sour dough flatbread with spinach, peas, okra and apricot. Very delicious. The key word is shared, especially at £9 a bash. The free cucumber infused bottled water was a nice touch though.

Pros: Vegan friendly , Delightful interior

Cons: Expensive

pretty, fresh, expensive

the food looks lovely and is nice, but it is expensive. they do some interesting vegan food - stuff you wouldn't make at home which is good. has a fair few vegan options and offers different plant milks. they do some interesting hot drinks. vegan cake was delicious.

Pros: nice interior, multiple vegan options, vegan cakes and plant milks

Cons: expensive, hard to get seating due to small size

Very fast service and gorgeous fresh food

We had a gorgeous brunch including mushroom on toast with cashew cream cheese.

We went with meat-eaters who all had the vegan options and loved them.

Fast and friendly service, but very expensive so wouldn’t go if I was paying!

Pros: fresh ingredients , friendly staff , good portions

Cons: expensive , short walk from city centre

Not for me but a fancy brunch if you like that!

Ive had okay and bad experiences here. Was once served a tiny piece of bread with rock hard avocado and charged £7. Was once given a lovely porridge but still overpriced. Not my cup of tea. if you fancy a brunch with friends and BYOB on their evening dinner events then it’s worth trying. Their coffee is really amazing and they usually have a vegan banana bread or something, but it’s more expensive than every coffee shop on the block and therefore not for me! They have a vegan porridge usually and at least one other option but usually small and overpriced. Owners are very kind. Seem more interested in being “instagramable” than anything else.

Pros: Nice atmosphere , Evening “fine at fettle” is lovely

Cons: Expensive , Not a lot for vegans

Fine at Fettle

Went for an evening meal (fine at fettle).Everything was cooked well and the flavours were well paired. They obviously know how to cook for vegans. They gave vegan butter to start. The sauces all seemed to be made from scratch and showed the effort.

Only one vegan desert was available out of three but it was good. The food was a touch on the pricer side, but the quality shows through.

I don't think the menu changes that often for the fine, so we may wait for a change of season for our next visit.

Pros: Two starters, three mains

Cons: No alcohol license (BYOB), only one vegan desert, Evening menu doesn't seem much different than day
