Sushi and Ramen

We were able to order several items from the menu, including appetizers (forgot to grab photos). We had the grilled avocado, seaweed salad, blackened brussels, and edamame. While we didn’t care for the seaweed salad (mostly mixed greens and too salty for our pallets), all other apps were polished off in minutes. For our mains we ordered Ramen, the Hall of Fame with tofu, and the Bijou Bowl. The tofu used is marinated in a great sauce, which brings a lot to the dishes.

Delicious and great service

The food was yummy. The broth in the yasai ramen was out of this world. We had the special Appalachian sushi and the shiitake maki. Both were tasty. We can tell that the sushi makers aren’t sushi artisans when we compare the look of these dishes to ones we’ve had elsewhere, but they tasted good. The server was kind and helpful. She was glad that we told her up front that we are vegan because she was able to ensure necessary substitutions. The meal was pricey but enjoyable.

Pros: Taste, Service, Environment

Cons: Not all vegan , Expensive

Delicious ramen

Loved the vegan ramen! And they also offer a variety of veggie rolls. Vegan and vegetarian items are marked on the printed menu but not the online one.
