Not truly vegan options - Edit
Our family went there based on the separate vegan menu advertised. When we ordered, our waiter steered us away from our main choice dish—the spicy Dan Dan noodles. He told us because it wasn’t truly vegan—they make it with spicy beef for the flavoring, and just take it off for the non-meat eaters. What?! We honestly should have gone elsewhere then, but it was late, and we appreciated the honesty of our waiter so decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. We ordered the “vegan” hot and sour soup which clearly was not…it had a strong aroma of pork (likely in the broth) and our waiter very kindly took it off our bill. The green beans and kung pow tofu were decent, the cauliflower was not, but the whole experience was colored by having not one, but two of our dishes being marketed to us as vegan but clearly were not…just a ploy to attract a wider customer base. We will not return, and hope this review reaches other plant based people so they aren’t conned like we were.

Good enough - Edit
I tried the set menu (“Dine LA” multiple course menu) which was a pretty good deal at $30. I was glad they had clearly labeled vegan options. The best part was probably the cucumber salad, surprisingly. Very citrusy with lots of lime and some soy sauce, it was very refreshing. The tofu dishes were okay. I enjoyed them but nothing to rave about. The green beans were amazing, so much flavor. Place is cute. Overall, had a good experience.

Ok but better options around - Edit
The food was fine but a bit on the bland side. It’s Chinese food for your grandparents who can’t deal with spice. I liked that they have a vegan menu. It’s a nice location and friendly staff but pretty expensive.

Good but basic - Edit
Really glad that they have a vegan menu but food is basic. Not spicy at all. I generally like my stuff more flavorful. Cute spot though and overall good

5 STARS!! AMAZING - Edit
This easily should be 5 stars - but could only give 4 due to happy cow rules. The food is outstanding and clearly marked vegan! So delicious- the best Chinese food I have ever had
