So good

They have the best vegan brownie peanut butter sandwich ever, it's to die for. Usually my boyfriend and I order one of all the vegan things they have because it's so delicious. I also like the atmosphere there. Everyone's really friendly.

Pros: Most delicious brownies, Cosy atmosphere, Friendly staff

Not as promising as name would suggest!

Fett und Zucker is a small and cozy café with a selection of (some vegan) cakes and snacks. Maybe I came on a wrong day, but there were only very few cakes and the vegan options were limited and sadly not so interesting. The atmosphere was relaxed and the staff was friendly, but if I am in the area again, then I rather go to one of the other vegan cafés close by.

Pros: cozy, nice atmosphere

Cons: a bit pricey, not a big selection of vegan cakes

Best vegan cake ever!

Really nice and cosy place with a large choice of vegan cakes and desserts! I strongly recommend to try their cookies and chocolate peanut butter cake! Miam!

great cakes

very nice, cozy venue with a positive atmosphere.
they have nice cakes (it seems as though they are now offering more vegan options?) and a real good chai latte - one is vegan, one is not.
they bake their cakes right in the cafe, so be prepared for some real nice smell which makes you order another cake ;)

Pros: delicious cakes, moderate prices

Alright place

Visiting Fett und Zucker (fat and sugar) is not as risky as the name would suggest. Actually it's a comfy casual venue. You'll get a lot of hip beverages as well as some cakes few of which are vegan.
Coffee is good, music is ok. Good place to hang out, there is enough space for that.

Small range of vegan cakes

Vegans: When we came here, they just had a few vegan cookies and vegan banana bread (easy cake). Hot chocolate was tasty. Nice interior.

Pros: Hey, they have vegan stuff!

Cons: just a tiny range of vegan cakes (one)

I love everything about this place.

Great coffee, delicious cakes, good reading material and wonderful music.
It's one of my favorite places in Vienna.

Try the vegan bean strudel and toffee, if they have it!

queer vegan cake

I can't believe I am the first one to write a review about Fett & Zucker! It is a very precious place in a nice are near a market and not far from city center either. Fett meaning fat and Zucker meaning sugar, it describes the two most important ingredients for delicious sins.
It's actually like a queer-vegan oasis in the middle of the asphalt landscape of 2nd district. It offers a great choice of cakes, about a third to half of them are vegan, like the delicious apple crumble cake. Tasting other people's cheese cake nearly makes me not wanna be a vegan. The coffee is great, it's actually the first really good coffe-and-soymilk-mix I have ever had. The interior is cozy, lots of sofas, artsy walls, queer activist magazines and stuff if you are in the mood for reading. The owner is a very smiling, positive, nice person. Not many seats outside, but the inside is really nice.

Pros: cake & coffee, interior, staff & location

Cons: I'd like more vegan cakes
