Outstanding views - Edit
Bit of a shock when you realise the cafe entrance fee doesn’t include any food or drink but they do a very posh vegan breakfast and the experience is worth the money! Views are amazing.

Pricey treat! - Edit
We were treated to this experience on a recent trip. We wouldn't have paid at that price... You have to buy the ticket up AND then the meal on top so it's an expensive meal out. We went at night.
Read moreIt is, however, mainly about the experience: which was great fun, we loved it (but see above: we didn't pay!). One vegan starter and one vegan main, but it was nice food & friendly staff.
Had to send soup back as it was cold but they sorted it without question.
If you're veggie the cheese platter looked good & they are happy to give more bread if needed. There is also a bread & dip starter for veggies.
Pros: Fun experience , Friendly staff
Cons: Expensive!

Best view in Berlin - Edit
The breakfast option is affordable : 20€ for a plate with various food, bread with jam and coffee (price not including the access to the tower). The view is great and service as well.

€21 for a burger with no chips! - Edit
This is a revolving restaurant 200m above Berlin and it was a really cool experience, but the menu is very limited for vegans and the food is very overpriced.
Read moreWe booked a window table (you have to book to visit the restaurant) and it cost us €27.50 each. I'd recommend booking the window table as it's not much more than the inside ring tables and the people on the inside table next to us spent most of their trip trying to look around us to see the view.
Sitting next to the massive windows while the restaurant revolved giving us a full 360° view of Berlin was a really cool experience and I would recommend it.
I wouldn't recommend the food though. The menu is very limited for vegans. They seem to have recently taken a whole load of vegan options off the menu and the menu we had in the restaurant was much more limited than the one we saw on their website. There are actually only two labelled vegan options on the menu now – a Beyond burger and a baked potato, and both of these are only served until 4 pm. After 4 pm there are no labelled vegan options and the only three I can see on the menu that could be vegan are a salad, a soup and fried asparagus.
Me and my wife got the only two options – the Tower Burger Vegan with Beyond meat and the baked potato, which came with vegan curd, mushrooms and leeks. The price of the burger was an extortionate €21 and at that price I honestly just assumed it came with chips, but it didn't! For €21 we got a burger with a little pile of coleslaw. The patty wasn't even big enough for the burger! It was a small one that was too small for the buns so I didn't even get patty in every mouthful. It tasted decent but I've had much better burgers in Berlin for €10. The baked potato was also pretty tasty but that was €12 which was much better than the burger but still overpriced. To top it off they refused to serve me tap water so I had to pay €4 for a 200ml bottle of water. Our total bill came to €41 which was just crazy for the food we got. The portions were also underwhelming and we weren't even full afterwards! Considering we also paid €55 between us just to reserve a table in this restaurant and the whole experience cost €96.
I think as a tourist experience it was cool and worth doing but I would recommend trying to order as little as possible to avoid wasting money on average overpriced food that won't even fill you up.
Pros: Great views, Unique experience, The food is decent
Cons: Very overpriced, Limited vegan options, Underwhelming portions

Tourist experience - Edit
We booked this solely as a tourist experience so the fact that vegan food was available was simply a bonus. We attended before 4pm so the daytime menu was available (and heavily vegan). I had the Currywurst which honestly was a paltry portion size and a bit underwhelming, partner had the tower burger which was a little better. Nice experience with drinks in the revolving restaurant so glad we did it.
