Great pub with several interesting vegan food options - Edit
Great pub with a roaring fire in winter and outside tables for summer. Dog and kid friendly. There are always interesting vegan options available - not just the standard pub fare of veggie burger and chips - although you can get that if you want!

INCREDIBLE - Edit
Exactly what we needed after a snowy trip to mount Wellington. Walked in and snagged the last table inside near the fireplace (the mentioned it good to book on advanced if you want to sit inside!). Had about a 15 minute wait for food. A few labelled vegan things on the menu which was great to see. My partner and I both got the potato and artichoke oven bake. Was INCREDIBLE!! The pea purée was seriously delish with all the roast veggies.

Delicious food, great tavern - Edit
Had lunch here on a cold wintery (but in April) day. Walked in and both the fireplaces were lit which was lovely. I ordered the vegan soup of the day - pumpkin and chickpea. I forgot to take a photo but it was delicious! Next time I’m in the area I’ll definitely be going back.
