So many wonderful choices. The Mac & Cheese is great - big portion. Breakfast burrito also good & big portion. But the nachos are the BEST!!

I was satisfied with this place before I even arrived. I hyped myself up so much from the instagram photos. It was WORTH IT! Best vegan restaurant in CLT hands down. My husband and I came here and were not disappointed. Usually appetizers are all portions. Not here. Portion size is fantastic. We ordered the daily special sushi and buffalo cauliflower wings. For entreé we had Korean sandwich and Zo Boy. We had mocktails. Lemonade and Nomosa. Flavor hittin'!!!!! Alex (executive chef) know what he doing!!! I know where I'll be going broke this summer!

I found my favorite restaurant in Charlotte today. I've been living in the city for a year and Fern is the best restaurant I've eaten in so far. The ingredients are fresh and attractively prepared. the service is very helpful and personal.

I visited here almost a year ago, but i still remember this place like it was last month. I sat outside and ordered a mushroom po boy. Overall the experience was good. Give yourself plenty of time and budget, though.

Some of the best vegan nachos- even had a non-vegan friend with me who enjoyed and commented on how surprised they were by the vegan cheese on the nachos. Also had a burger and it was very good. Would definitely return!

I tried Fern again recently after a long hiatus, which we took due to poor service and the prices being too high for the quality of the food. I was looking forward to giving them another shot, but unfortunately I can’t say I was very impressed.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is gorgeous, and I’m glad they’ve added padded chairs and updated some of their decor. Our server was nice and attentive. My partner and I did feel like there’s definitely a strange vibe in the space though, it felt somewhat awkward sitting indoors. We ordered the Buddha bowl and the roasted red pepper ravioli. The Buddha bowl was unfortunately nothing special according to my partner, and he said he probably wouldn’t order it again. I had the ravioli and it was lukewarm, with way too much sauce (with almost rubbery red pepper chunks in it) and not enough pasta. The sauce was supposed to have sausage in it, but I think I maybe saw 5 tiny crumbs of sausage in there, definitely not enough to taste. We paid $60 plus tip for the two entrees and a mocktail (which was gorgeous but a little too sour). It felt like too much money for the food we got.
I hate leaving a low star review on an all vegan restaurant, especially Fern. But I think for the price, it’s just not worth it unfortunately.

To start the presentation was beautiful, the plates and silverware were beautiful. The menu was amazing and hard to choose from, so many mouth watering options. The service was exceptional the servers were courteous and offering suggestions.

This is an amazing spot for dinner in Charlotte with lovely staff and atmosphere and most importantly DELICIOUS vegan food! It’s pricey but occasionally definitely worth the money. The quality of the food is 5* as well as the taste!

Absolutely delicious. Starter, entree and desert. Can't say anything bad about the food. We arrived at 8pm and things were a bit rushed. Not sure if it was because the close at 9, but we had all that food and drinks in less than one hour. Could've spaced out more.

Surprised that anyone rated this less than 5 star. Really high quality food and service. Went twice, the second time on Valentine's Day. Both times we ordered from the lunch menu, the Zo boy is definitely my favorite alongside the Gyoza and Brussel sprouts (which I didn't know I liked before I came here, amazing just like the oyster mushrooms!)The dessert is fantastic as well. Definitely worth a visit.

I had been wanting to try Fern for so long and finally did for dinner. Now I ordered take out and got the cauliflower wings, fried Brussel sprouts, and cheesecake. Now I didn’t realize me saying sauce on the side meant no sauce on the wings. But it’s cool. The smell was loud when I got the food and I was thinking maybe it was the Brussel sprouts. You know sometimes greens may smell. Nope it was the cauliflower wings for some off reason. The smell was really bad the next day every time I opened the refrigerator I smelled it. I only had my own vegan made cheesecake and their cheesecake wasn’t that good at all. And it was warm like falling apart warm. I love a good cold cheesecake. Maybe I’ll try again and just do dine in.

The mushrooms was fried to perfection but they were not tasty actually no taste at all. Brussel sprouts we even better the second time. Carrot cake was a decent size slice however there is coconut flakes on it. Wish they mentioned that because I hate coconut. Salad dressing for the salad was bomb
Overall I will give them 5 stars because it’s pricey for the food not to be good.

I’m a junk food vegan through and through, but occasionally it is nice to have thoughtful plant-forward cuisine that doesn’t solely rely on commercial meat/dairy analogs. From the atmosphere to the sangria to the meal and dessert, everything was fantastic and presented with style and class. I will definitely be back!
