Only one very expensive option - Edit
We popped into Fern Cottage on the strength of previous Google reviews which mentioned a separate vegan menu. Unfortunately we had missed more current reviews which highlighted this was no longer being used. The waiter was very apologetic and pointed us to the only vegan option on the menu - a salad priced at £18 for which you could swap chicken for tofu. On a cold and rainy day this wasn't what we were hoping for so we didn't stay.

Tasty but not many options - Edit
They don't have a vegan menu anymore, as mains they only have gnocchi (with tofu instead of feta) and grilled veggies (without Tzatziki) as vegan options on the menu. They were very tasty but it's very pricey (we paid 50£ for two people) and sadly still not very vegan friendly.

Some good, some other - Edit
We had the gnocchi which were really good. The fettucine tasted like barilla pesto - for 18 pounds we would have expected home made pesto sauce.

Separate vegan menu - Edit
Having seen the vegan menu online I requested it on arrival as many of the options weren't on the main menu. We found service to be quite fast upon arrival but by the end of the evening it kind of felt like they forgot about us! After my husband ordered dessert we didn't see anybody for 40 mins and decided just to go to the bar to pay our bill. There were 3 options for each course.. some options on the main listings have been removed. I chose the leek and potato soup with warm bread which was really lovely. I then had the green linguine which was fully of courgettes, peas and green peppers. I was worried it wouldn't have much flavour without having lots of sauce but I really enjoyed it. The portions were generous and the staff were friendly.

Very tasty but pricey - Edit
Delicious food, excellent service and a really beautiful setting. Although the price was a bit more than I would have liked to have paid.

Nice meal - Edit
Really nice and attentive staff. We went here because the mezze platter on here looked amazing, but on looking at the up to date menu, it seems to have gone. I've uploaded a photo of it! It's a lovely place though and we were happy sitting outside in the sun with our dog. We shared olives and bread to start (forgot to take a photo) - fairly small portion for over 7 quid but I think I've just forgotten restaurant prices after covid haha. We had the bulgar wheat salad and the green linguine (really oily but I like that so it was tasty) - both fairly basic recipes that you could easily make at home, but still very pleasant. The vegan menu is displayed outside, but you need to ask for it when you sit down as it isn't part of the menu they give you.

We had a very good dinner here - make sure to ask for the vegan menu, which includes many items which are not marked on the main menu.

Separate vegan menu - Edit
Nice restaurant with a separate vegan menu including a desert over and above the usual sorbets! Friendly staff. Only complaint - one of the vegan options had honey listed in it!

Cozy setting - Edit
Staff were very friendly. The vegan menu is restricted, three options for the main, two for dessert and 4 for starts. However, the food was lovely and so was the house rose. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely dinner - Edit
Enjoyed a meal here tonight, was pleased to find a separate vegan menu and the waitress (owner/manager?) that served us was very enthusiastic and genuinely wanted our feedback to see if there was anything they could improve. All the staff were really friendly and willing to help. We both enjoyed our meals and would recommended 100%. Will be back when we are passing through!

Exceptional staff - Edit
Great selection of vegan/veggie food. Very friendly staff who were genuinely interested in our dining experience. The only thing I’d mention is that I found the food slightly bland. However after mentioning it to the staff they quickly rectified it by presenting us with some spicy chilli oil mixture which the chef prepared. As a result, it pepped it up!

Vegan Menu - Edit
Ask for the vegan menu when you get a table. They were busy so we sat outside. Wonderful selection although one item clearly states it has honey. The Mediterranean Gnocchi was amazing with eggplant (aubergine) and zucchini. My Omni husband had the Mushroom Risotto and it was very good too.
