Best dinner spot in Keswick - Edit
I've tried quite a few dinner spots in Keswick, and am confident this is the best for veggies/vegans. Great options with a rotating seasonal menu, delicious food and a nice atmosphere.

Great Vegan Options & Vegan Wine Offered - Edit
We booked to visit Fellpack on the second night of a three night stay and it was so good we booked for the last night too. What a great place we just loved everything about it, the place itself, the staff, the vibe and especially the food. As vegans there was a great choice and lucky for us on the second night the menu had changed slightly so we had a whole different menu. Dishes we had were spiced cashews, lemon and dill hummus with crostini, romesco dip and corn shards, onion bhaji, cauliflower risotto, spring vegetable gnocchi, burrito bowl and falafel kofta, sticky toffee pudding... absolutely cracking food..If only we lived nearer so just means we'll have to organise another trip to Keswick. Highly recommended.

Perfection - Edit
Very impressed - came here for dinner before a show at the nearby Theatre by the Lake. The staff were all lovely, as was the venue itself - recommend the focaccia, the best we’ve ever eaten. Their way of serving in “fellpots” is lovely, and all their mains are full of details and surprises - very substantial.

Lunchtime menu - Edit
Popped out in for lunch this weekend, I was mildly disappointed by a small Mexican menu, rather than the restaurants full range. Lunchtime food is produced in the street food stand next to the building however they still serve to your table inside. The vegan option was a bean burrito and a very tasty bean burrito at that. Definitely going back for the full evening menu soon…

Wholesome Vegan Dishes - Edit
There were 3 vegan mains on the menu, all of which looked delicious and wholesome. I went for a vegan chilli with quinoa and it was perfect. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into the dish (which can’t be said for many restaurants vegan options!). There were also vegan desserts available. Service was extremely friendly and helpful too.

Went here last night for a birthday dinner. Lovely to see there were a few different vegan options. I got the carbonara and my partner got the Dahl. Both were absolutely delicious, not a crumb was left on the plate.

Would give 5 stars if allowed by happy cow. Yes they serve meat etc, but they have plenty of non meat too. Our dishes were presented and served beautifully. Amazing tastes, great choice of beers. Also had 2 vegan desserts which were both stunning.

Expensive but totally worth it - Edit
Fellpack has amazing vegan options. Unique take on vegan options. Always a fab service and always great food. More recently they have swapped their starters for nibbles which is a shame. But still very tasty

Great food - Edit
While we did not make a reservation the staff were really helpful and promised us a table after about 30 mins, they even recommended a local bar (Twisted Magnolia) in which to have a drink while we waited.

Tasty vegan options - Edit
They had several vegan options on starters (4), mains (3) and desserts (2). On our first visit I opted for the vegan mushroom and seitan stroganoff. I enjoyed so much that I had it again on our second visit. The vegan option on the sticky toffee pudding was also really tasty.

Good vegan options - Edit
Had a gorgeous starter (Smokey Romanesco dip) and the Cauliflower Carbonara was great. The first one arrived cold but they sorted it out straightaway.

Eaten here twice and loved both meals, the vegan options are brilliant. The vegan carbonara is one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten. Would recommend to anyone visiting Keswick. My meat eating companions have enjoyed their options too. Small restaurant so would book well in advance.

Plenty of vegan choices or vegan swaps and the food is wholesome and fresh. They also make all their own plates and cups which is very impressive. It is quite pricey though.

Fantastic Vegan Options!🌱 - Edit
I have visited many times, and there is always a variety of vegan options!! Those that I have tried, such as a vegan chickpea steak(flipping amazing), soups, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and more, which go above and beyond any standard vegan food. So impressed! And the staff are so friendly and helpful, the whole place has such a beautiful vibe in such a beautiful place.

Nice atmosphere and decor, friendly staff - Edit
We had dinner there, chosing the macaroni celeriac and blue cheese and nut roast. The first also came with candied walnuts, which was nice at first, but as they were very sweet, made me feel sick after a while. I thought the dish was also too rich and could perhaps have done with added spinach or other green veg to counteract all that cheese, apart from that, it was nice. We thought the nut roast which came with sweet potato puree, was rather small. The brownie with pistachio ice cream was nice. It would be nice to have vegan cream as an alternative to ice cream, as all desserts came with that. That said, there were quite a few vegan/vegetarian options.

Exceptional food and lovely feel - Edit
Finding vegan food in Keswick isn’t easy and was about to settle for what I think would have been a microwave meal at one of the pubs but having checked Happy Cow decided to give Fellpack a go and I am so glad I did. They couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly, offering to make vegetarian meals vegan if I wasn’t happy with the vegan options but there was a good choice and my meal (mushroom and nut roast) was wonderful. Even my non-vegan husband chose a vegan meal (tagine). I’d give it five stars if I could and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes great food in a lovey environment.

Fantastic, full of energy and community feel - Edit
I chanced upon the Fellpack and went two nights in a row draw by it's fantastic cosy interior and wholesome food. The menu isn't perfect - there is meat on there - but there are multiple vegan options for every course (50% of the starters, 37% of mains, 33% of desserts). They get the balance of health/treat spot on - big, bold flavoured, but wholefood. I had the lentil mixed bean chilli - great after a day running the hills. Nice to see more vegan options than vegetarian options. Nice too to see vegan options for their special events (e.g. Xmas roast, sharing board for murder mystery). Very busy, and a great warm community feel. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Keswick, even if it could earn additional points for going all vegan their ethos seems very progressive, seasonal, outdoorsy., friendly and they're a long way ahead of other late evening options I found.
