Serves meat, vegan options available. Casual eatery advertising paleo and keto food. Offers a labeled vegan tempeh scramble. Bagels, toast, smoothies, and coffee also on the menu. Open Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm.
This place certainly fills a void for veg*n folks who live and work downtown. It is hard to find vegan options and even harder to find vegetables and solid meal with multiple food groups.
You get an entree and sides and if you bring your own dish, they will give you a discount. The containers are TV-dinner style. Sides will include veggies like Brussels sprouts as opposed to chips or fries like everywhere else. You also get a choice of several sauces including a vegan pesto or a tahini sauce.
I love junk food but if I need to buy lunch, it's nice to be able to get real food if want it.
I went to this restaurant at 2pm, and it was horrible. The vegan fritters were over cooked, the broccoli and cauliflower were undercooked and over seasoned. The coconut rice was ok, because it was made in a rice cooker. I can’t believe I paid for this meal.
