Also carries a selection of tea, coffee and soft drinks, plus other deli items such as cheese and crisps. Appears at the Sherwood Vegan Market the 2nd Saturday of every month. Open Thu-Sat 10:00-15:00. Closed when attending markets - check website.

Great sandwiches! - Edit
Have enjoyed many tasty sandwiches/bagels from Faux when visiting markets. A couple of times I've found the bread to filling ratio a bit off but it is lovely fresh tasting bread so wasn't too disappointed. The faux bacon they sell is also fantastic!

Small deli on the high street in Sherwood. Homemade deli ‘meat alternatives’, delicious pre-made fresh sandwiches and a great choice of artisan cheezes for sale. Short term parking available on street if you are lucky to find a space, otherwise local free car parks nearby. I’d frequent here a lot more often than I do as I love their food, but opening hours are quite limited and it always seems closed when I’m passing. It would be good if they offered online ordering for collection and delivery.

Great sandwiches and buns, plus superb slices of fake meat that are perfect for sandwiches or pizza toppings. Only downsides are that they sometimes sell out of certain things early in the day, and that their cheeze fridge is not keeping the contents cold enough!

I was really impressed with my purchases. Quality products, nice shopping environment and super friendly service. Fair pricing for handmade freshly prepared products too. Also stock artisan vegan cheeses and some sweet treats. Good for sandwiches too.

Given it's 30 years since I ate meat, faux meats don't hold much appeal for me, but I'm so impressed by the Faux Butcher. They have an impressive selection of options, from brisket to "pork belly" and all sort of sliced "meats", perfect for sandwiches or those christmas charcuterie boards.

Very proud to have these guys on my doorstep. Their filled sandwiches are delicious, and after trying the hotdogs and 'chicken' thighs I can report that they are well on top of the seitan game! Amazing for an addition to a vegan Sunday roast and for mock meat additions to any meal. Staff are friendly and helpful - but go early to beat the queues!
