Very Disappointing - Edit
All vegan options were GF. The cake part was ok. The icing was horrible—it cannot have been regular sugar—had an ultra processed chemical taste to it. I scraped it off and threw it away.

Vegan and gluten free - Edit
Their vegan options are all gluten free, which isn’t our favorite but considering they weren’t bad. Pretty dense, in a good way, not crumbly, creamy. A decent amount of options. We cleaned them out with half a dozen so they don’t seem to have many vegan cupcakes available per day.

Poor Service & No Vegan Options - Edit
I called three days in advance to place an order of vegan cupcakes for my son’s birthday. They had me prepay because of the call-in order, which is fine. However, when I went to pick them up we found that my order had never been made and the store had zero vegan options at the time. They gave me a refund after I asked but they didn’t offer much of an apology and didn’t seem to understand that it was a big deal they failed us on a special occasion.

I visited this establishment 2 days in a row. The first day they only had one vegan cupcake available, but I was told that they would have a larger variety the next day. I purchased the last vegan chocolate snickerdoodle. Oh man the flavor was incredible. The cake was moist and not too dense which is what I often expect from a vegan cake. The next day I returned and there were 7 vegan options. They run a deal to buy 5 get 1 free which is what I did. I purchased the coconut, vanilla on vanilla, chocolate on chocolate, German chocolate, vanilla snickerdoodle, and vanilla on chocolate. At this time I have only tasted the coconut, but it too was magical. Fat Bottomed Girl’s for the win!

Read moreYesterday evening I saw the cutest small business walking downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas I had to stop by. I made my way up the stairs an went into the first shop! I found all the shops was open an thriving with color an positivity, my friends would love it! I got a simple latte an went through to the Gift shop there was SO much stuff it felt cluttering but the workers was super sweet. From there I walked into the cupcake store an was mildly pleased with the aspects, I needed to bring my friends first before I walked back with cupcakes. I asked if there was vegan cupcakes? the worker kindly responded WITH A YES MA' AM just as kind as when he spoke when i entered, an then went on my way with plans to be back!!!
(GREAT WORKERS GREAT PLACE THE FIRST DAY!!!)
THE NEXT MORNING
My friends an I set out on a mission to get to the cupcakes I had found! When we got there we skipped right over the other stores an I wish I didn't.... from walking into the door I WAS NOT greeted how I was the day before. It was like the whole store changed overnight...from being the most positive to the least positive. Down to as a younger lady storming around the store cursing an complaining about her job, to just rude workers: who didn't want to answer or speak to you.
THE WORKER... who stormed around the store almost pushed my friend over when she came around the corner in her fury. Other worker stayed on her phone in the back of the room hitting her vape when I spoke to her she continued to type an didn't respond... I spoke louder an she snapped her head up throw her phone down an jumped infront of the cupcakes an asked me WHAT not what can I get you just a simple WHAT. I was in absolute disbelief this was the store I had just walked into yesterday.
My friends an I looked at their DISPLAY which was OLD CUPCAKES so they had a slight smell an we asked for our flavors. The lady then pulled TWO of the cupcakes we asked for OFF display an say they wasn't available, we asked why an she replied must not of got them in today... my friends seemed aggravated. When we got to the check out the lady pulled at her mask an spoke that will be practically 20 dollars... she didn't even say a total. My friend added some chocolate covered strawberries to the tab i paid an we went back to the apartment!
BACK AT THE APARTMENT... I had stale cupcakes... atleast 3 stale...and the strawberries was growing under the chocolate.. wouldn't recommend this place

I went yesterday and they had three vegan options: chocolate on chocolate, vanilla on vanilla, and red velvet with some cream frosting. They were out of V on V so I only got the chocolate ones which were AMAZING.

Only had one flavor with one type of frosting. Carrot cake with vanilla frosting with or without nuts. The one with nuts was really good! The cake was good but very dense & the frosting was nice and the nuts added really nice texture. Seems like they make a very limited amount of vegan cupcakes but for not specializing in vegan baked goods its a solid cupcake!

For extreme sweets lovers - Edit
The shop is cool to look around and spend some time. The hours on here may be wrong because the first time we tried to go they were closed. This was happening everywhere in Hot Springs during our stay though - places just seem to close whenever they feel like it. They had 5 vegan options when we came: chocolate, vanilla, turtle, chocolate snicker doodle and vanilla snickerdoodle. My partner and I split the turtle one and didn’t even finish it. It’s VERY sweet and dense. Although I appreciate the vegan options in a town that doesn’t offer many, I wouldn’t go again due to price vs quality.
