Good but no vegan labels

There is a vegetarian section but nothing labeled as vegan so you have to ask. I asked for the salt pepper tofu zucchini to be vegan and the owner who took our order said sure. It was pretty good but not like life changing.

Excellent food

Had the veggie wonton soup, the charred garlic broccoli, the spicy chili tofu and cauliflower, and the house fried rice. The flavors were amazing. Definitely vegetarian options but I didn’t see anything being advertised as vegan.

Good for filling up the belly, not much more

The restaurant had a vegan/vegetarian section on the menu but no specifics on what's what. The waiter said the shrimp noodles is also vegan until I explained that shrimp isn't vegan.
I got a tofu-mushrooms-eggplant dish in soy and garlic sauce. It was ok.. very oily.
In summary, if you don't have another option it's decent.

Cons: Expensive, No vegan awareness

Not vegan

Even though I asked the waitress which items were vegan, they still served me things with shrimp and egg. When I brought it up she said she didn’t understand me and I didn’t see her again. I wouldn’t consider this place somewhere with vegan options!

Chef specials

We happened upon this restaurant as it was near our hotel and convention center. When the owner/chef came by to take our order and learned that we were vegan, he offered to prepare some special dishes. What came out was amazingly good and unlike any other meal. The appetizers were an open dumpling with eggplant, sugar peas, broad beans, and mixed vegetables on a taro base. The entree was an excellent eggplant dish with pea filled dumplings. We were very surprised and pleased at the quality of the dishes.
