Diaya Cheese Pizzas

Its nice that they have a vegan option, but diaya cheese just tastes like plastic to me. It would be better if they used a different vegan cheese.

Plant-based Menu Section

Great vegan options. Vegan base, cheese, and pepperoni available. I had the plant-based deluxe pepperoni pizza and it was really good! Needed some chili fakes for some spice, but I would definitely have it again!
They always have at least 2 sorbet flavors to choose from for dessert.

Daiya cheese available

Build your own pizza at Famoso is incredible for vegans! Red sauce, daiya cheeze, and many vegetable options. I love the authentic Neapolitan crust. Stay away from the caramelized onions, as they are sautéed in butter.

A vegan pizza treat

There are several Famoso locations around Edmonton. The staff are generally knowledgeable and really good about helping out with vegan options. The big draw with Famoso is that they have vegan Daiya cheese on offer, and also have more exotic toppings like artichoke hearts and kalamata olives. My favorite is the Primavera pizza. For lunch, the small pizza special with the napoli salad is very good. There are also a few flavors of gelato that are dairy-free too.

Pros: Good pizza, Variety of toppings, Friendly, knowledgeable staff

Cons: a little expensive, usually quite busy

Really solid choice

Not sure I agree its the best pizza ever, but a solid choice. Great with kids, and good vegan options. Sorbets always yummy too. As franchises go, this a good one, and the availability of daiya is key here.

Best pizza I've ever had

This is the only place I will eat pizza. As a vegan pizza can be hard to find not frozen. This place rules. Daiya and fancy pizza? I'm there! I love the primavera, margherita, and the funghi tartufo. Try them all made vegan with the daiya.

Pros: Fancy toppings, Vegan cheese, Many locations

Cons: Don't deliver, Can be loud and busy
