ORIGINAL: Visited today and there were four non-dairy ice cream flavors: vanilla, cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, and macchiato chip. The cookies and cream is hands down the *best* vegan ice cream I've ever had. Maybe it's because I'm pregnant but I could eat this and no other ice cream for-ev-VER (sorry, currently watching "The Sandlot" 😂).
UPDATE 9-16-21: I visited yesterday and they had changed the set up to a window (you don't enter the bldg anymore), and the front has many signs listing their flavors. However they had "non-dairy malt" listed, which is a paradox since the malt is malted milk. I asked the woman at the window who went back and verified that they use malted milk powder in their "non-dairy malt" shake. I told her they should change the sign because it's incorrect and could cause a reaction in someone with allergies, but she seemed dismissive (she also said earlier that "only a little powder is used" like that makes a difference 🙄). I also posted a review on Google Maps to which the owner responded in a way that leads me to believe they have zero understanding of the problem here, so I can't recommend them any more.
I am the owner responding here. We will handle the sign situation. We were not dismissive on your Google review but it seems you have nothing better to do than bash Falls Ice Cream. We’ve been here almost 17 years and have never had someone do what you are currently doing! We do use styrofoam cups and if this is a problem…then you don’t have to visit us again. We do our very very best to make sure we run an upstanding business and will continue to stand up for ourselves to people that have nothing better to do but post constant negatives.
