You know, the loaf did kinda fall apart as you cut into it, but the flavour was all there and it’s a nice spot at night in an otherwise sleepy part of the world.

We were happily surprised to find excellent vegan options here. The food was excellent - and an easy comfortable place to sit, eat, and relax after a day in the GAP trail. Would definitely recommend.

I’m not sure that they had all of the options that were noted in the restaurant description here on Happy Cow- but they definitely had multiple vegetarian and vegan option. I had the lentil loaf entrée. I was leery about it because I’ve had it other places and it’s not always great. But this one was really tasty. Served with roasted potatoes and broccolini that was delicious. Chips and salsa was also a winner. (As in aside, we stumbled on the town of Ohiopyle by accident, and so glad we did. Lots of outdoor activities and cute festival going on). If you are going to Fallingwater or Kentuck Knob- highly recommend eating at Falls City Pub

Amazing Vegan Meal - Edit
After a day of hiking in Ohiopyle we ate here because of the vegan/vegetarian options on the menu. The vegan meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes(no butter) and broccolini were incredible. No processed vegan meat. It was made with lentils, oats and veggies with a glaze on top. It was so good my meat eating husband kept eating off of my plate. The staff were super nice. Will definitely go back!

Vegan Lentil Loaf - Edit
My husband who is a meat eater loves this place and so do I. We cook most of our food at home and are VERY picky when we choose to go out and this place never disappoints us. They have a separate winter menu since ohiopyle doesn’t get any tourists in the winter, but the lentil loaf did not disappoint. The broccoli and mashed potatoes were delicious. In the summer you can sit outside at their outdoor bar or picnic tables. Pets are welcome too. Love that this place always has a delicious option for me!

I stopped in while traveling. I got the pub wrap and a salad. The wrap had onions,peppers, mushrooms, spinach and sweet potatoes. It was delicious! The salad was a typical salad. The tomatoes and peppers were very fresh. The salad came with a lot of cheese on it so you’d need to request none if vegan. Outdoor and indoor seating. Good selection of food for all family members. I’d come again when in town.

There are tons of vegetarian options and a few pure vegan options and of course items that a clever vegan can veganize. I had a plentiful spinach salad with strawberries and pecans and sweet potato hash. A friend had the burrito with sweet potato. We both had to ask them to hold the cheese. This place is really a BBQ joint but if you’re visiting Fallingwater or something like that you can get a decent vegan meal here and for very little money.

We were disappointed to find out the beyond burger came on an egg washed bun (we had asked if it was vegan) so we ate it without the bun. the hummus plate was good. Another thing is there’s chickens with their beaks cut off walking around and customers and staff joke that they’re dinner so if you’re vegan for the animals.. skip it.

The homemade hummus was very good and was a huge portion. The burrito bowls were a little bland, but everything seemed fresh. We sat outside properly distanced and got to watch some chickens wander around looking for food. Nice experience but there too many yellow jackets flying around. I would go back anyway.

They were out of the impossible burger but had Beyond available. Pretty good but just lettuce tomato onion. Menu wasn't marked with veg icons but it was easy to figure out.
