I can't trust the coffee - Edit
The coffee was extremely overpriced, it took 15 minutes to get even though the place was empty, and I think they don't have cross contamination procedures. I have a dairy sensitivity where I get a migraine from even a small amount... And I got a terrible migraine after drinking the coffee.

Sweet Potato Quinoa Burger - Edit
The sweet potato quinoa burger is fire. The sweet and spicy sauce has a lot of flavor and the pretzel bun is nice and soft. Cost extra to add oat milk to my latte - which tasted too much like milk and not enough like espresso. Everything came out fast and there’s free WiFi.
Read morePros: 2 burger options, Flavor, Free WiFi
Cons: Alternative milk charge, Latte, No side options (the chips are alright)

Great Sweet Potato Quinoa Burger! - Edit
I came here while I was camping and it’s such a cute little cafe/bookstore! I got the sweet potato quinoa burger and it was amazing!! They also had a huge section of vegan cookies! Definitely stop in and get the burger if you get a chance!

Great space & breakfast options - Edit
Super cute bookstore with very nice staff. They have avocado toast and hummus toast, both topped with roasted tomatoes, which made a perfect breakfast before a day of winter adventures. There were a couple veg sandwiches on the menu, plus they have the ABC cookies and wonderful coffee.

Pleasant Surprise in Small Town - Edit
It was a great way to start the day in a healthy manner. When we went there it was raining outside, but inside it was oh so cozy, it would have been easy to stay there longer. Avocado toast and big, fresh blueberries were good. There was a small gift shop in here as well that sells unique & local postcards. I am thankful for the vegan choices that were available, but more would have been even better!

At least they have some vegan stuff - Edit
New ownership from an owner who doesn't really seem to care much. Many renovations need to happen here.
Read moreFood was good; coffee was horrible. The barista was really sweet and it's the fault of whoever "trained" her, not her own.

Good for a quick bite & coffee - Edit
They have a few vegan options - veggie burger, avocado toast & hummus toast. This place is great for a quick bite in between hikes or kayaking trips! The coffee & plant-based energy drink are good too!

Gluten free & vegan - Edit
We had the veggie hummus sandwich and it was good. Could use some spice maybe. Happy as celiac that they asked if gluten free was allergy or preference. They use the Little Northen Bakehouse gf bread that is also vegan. Friendly staff. All staff unmasked (covid). I recommend getting the food to go and walk down to the wonderful park by the water.

Loved it! Vegan Options - Edit
Great spot in downtown Munising. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. They have items labeled vegan and quite a few options to choose from as well as able to customize items. They have a veggie hummus sandwich and sweet potato burger on a pretzel bun that was delicious! Also had a fantastic berry smoothie with dairy free yogurt, super fruity! Owner was very helpful and welcoming! They also have vegan ice cream bar options.

Great portions - Edit
Ordered the veggie/hummus sandwich. It was huge! I saved half for dinner later. Had various milk alternatives for coffee and a couple items listed as vegan on their daily specials. They were friendly and we were able to sit out front on the benches with our dogs.

Great place to visit! - Edit
Multiple vegan and veg options, and the best coffee drinks in town. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This isn't just a restaurant, but also a new and used bookstore featuring many Michigan focused books. They also have an ever changing array of local artist gifts.

Nice find in a small city in the UP - Edit
Difficult to find gf and vegan food in the UP. I was ecstatic to find this place. The staff was friendly and helpful with accommodating me. Many vegan items on the menu. Food was fresh. I ordered a veggie hummus sandwich on gf bread. We checked the ingredients on the package to make sure it was vegan too. It's also a bookstore.
