The Best Falafel Place in South Bay - Edit
I don't typically eat deep-fried foods, but I when I do, I make an exception for Falafelle. Their falafel might not be the best ever, but their side dishes are top-notch and perfect to pair with the falafels. Disclaimer, the falafels here are already much better IMO than those from Oren's Hummus, Hummus, Dishndash, and the likes of chain Mediterranean places in the Bay. I typically get the falafel combo (add baba ghannouj and a pita), which can last me two very big meals in a day. I don't usually like eating pickles and salads, but everything from the dolmas (hard to find vegan), tabbouleh, to the beets are so fresh and delicious. I used to hate beets, and they literal restored my faith in the vegetable again. The baba ghannouj is so smoky and flavorful, I highly recommend adding it to your order!

Fell in love with a falafel?! - Edit
I've been a few times for lunch and I'm never disappointed. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I love this kind of food personally and would eat here more however, it is difficult to get to due to traffic during the week. Take out only but, ngl it's so good I eat it in the car!

Best in the Bay Area! - Edit
We found this gem years ago and have been going ever since. The Falafelle Container is my favorite dish to order, that way you get the hummus, zesty cabbage, beets, sauerkraut, roasted red peppers, house salad, pickled turnips, sumac onions, pickled cucumbers, mild banana peppers & garbanzo bean. Everything is so fresh, light, and fast! It can get pretty busy and the seating is limited. There is a cute park behind the shopping center. We like to take our food there to eat.
Read moreThe Vegan Baklava is very good! I've never tried the mango drink, but it looked yummy (it can be made with soy milk).
Check it out!

Great pitas - Edit
I had the Heaven's pita which had cauliflower, eggplant, potatoes, some kind of walnut pesto and maybe some harissa or something? It was fantastic. I would definitely return.

Amazing falafels & more!!! - Edit
I know it’s a bold claim to say that anywhere in the Bay Area has the “best falafel” but in my opinion this place is the best or at least in the top 3. And it’s one of the few places that is 100% vegetarian and mostly vegan.
Read moreAs an alternative to falafel, try the Heaven’s pita pocket which is an amazing vegetable sandwich made vegan pesto, cauliflower, eggplant, and other delicious veggies.
Also, try the mango milk

Outstanding Falafel - Edit
I love all of the sides that go into the Falafelle Container. They've just added a new pita sandwich with cauliflower, eggplant and fried potato. It's really good although I'll probably get the falafel more often.
Read moreThey have vegan baklava, which is usually quite good. However last time I got it, it tasted off--like it was made with stale nuts or bad oil.

Heaven in Belmont - Edit
This is THE place to go for take out - my favorite for pitas. The falafels are always perfectly cooked, never over done. The array of salads available to fill that pita bread makes for a memorable experience that will make this your destination whenever that desire for a perfect falafel. Take your treasure next door to the Twin Pines park and enjoy! No meats are offered but your Omni friends won’t mind once they experience this food of the gods!

Counter service - Edit
Enjoyed my ‘falafelle container’ which included lots of veggies, hummus, and six small falafel. This is exclusively a takeout place. You walk up to the counter, order on a giant iPad and then they will prepare your food and hand it to you through the window. No associated outdoor seating though Twin Pines Park is right there and has spots for picnicking.

Freshest food!!! - Edit
My husband and I literally had to retreat to the privacy of our car because we were drooling because the food was so fresh and incredible! Seriously! The falafel 🧆 is beyond delicious! And every side from the sauerkraut, pickled beets, hummus, baba ghanouj…yes…it’s all incredibly tasty and fresh. I would eat here every day if possible!

Amazing find! - Edit
On our way to SF for vegan sushi and they wouldn’t answer their phone so we had to divert. We found this place and let me tell you, we were blown away! I love Mediterranean/middle eastern food and find that I’m a pretty good critic when it comes to these cuisines. This place shattered my top 5 favorites and I’m happy to say it’s my new #1! Enjoy!

I've been coming here for 2 years and absolutely love it. In addition to having the best falafel I've ever had, they've also got vegan mango milk (which is like mango lassi!) and they've recently added vegan baklava! One of the best vegan options in the entire Bay Area.

My new love - Edit
Just discovered this little hole-in-the-wall gem near my new job. Couldn’t be happier! Great staff- so friendly and attentive. Beautiful, delicious, fresh falafel-based mostly take out shop. Two small tables on the sidewalk and parking is somewhat limited, but that won’t stop me from going back again! Loved the creative arrangement of all the toppings - a cute little hummus “nest’ with garbanzo bean “eggs” in the middle, surrounded by colorful, healthy adds like sauerkraut, beets, pico de gallo, slaw, and the crispiest falafel balls!

So great! We will be back! - Edit
We are in the area for a couple appointments and stopped into Falafelle for lunch. I had seen photos of the menu and had no idea what to get. But I needn’t have worried. At the counter, I got a “container, spicy, vegan” and it was all taken care of. Everything was so good! I also got a dolma, which was great, and stole some of my husband’s warm pita. We are definitely coming back here next time we’re in the area.
