Serves meat, vegan options available. Falafel restaurant where all item menus can be modified to be vegan. Yogurt sauce is used in vegetarian offerings which can be substituted for tahina sauce or hummus. Vegan dishes include a classic falafel sandwich and large stuffed falafel. No longer fully vegetarian as of Apr 2021. Open Mon-Sun 10:00am-10:00pm.

SAJ falafel sandwich and tabbouli - Edit
My husband and I both ordered the SAJ falafel sandwich and split a side of tabbouli. Everything was delicious. The falafel was soft on the inside, crunchy on the outside. They were not dry at all, which is my first complaint with a lot of falafel. Everything was made fresh to order. The mint in the sandwich was a lovely flavour to find in there too.

Good falafel. If you are extra hungry get the saj bread because you get an extra ball.

Best falafel in Ottawa - Edit
I haven't had falafel as good as this outside the Middle East. The guy behind the counter is a treat and he clearly loves the food. When waiting behind orders, he gives out tasters!

finally, real proper falafels in ottawa. the type that like melt in your mouth. one of the better fast food options i’ve encountered in a while. the soya chicken sandwich was also 6 out of 5 stars. tasty, spicey...... and all at decent prices!

A great surprise - Edit
Honestly we went there because Pure Kitchen was closed, it was late and the kids were hungry... the service was kind and fast and the food was very good. The place was clean and they serve in real plates (not disposable).

I heard about this place on the Facebook Group: Ottawa Vegans & Vegetarians. I went for take-out lunch and was seriously impressed at the freshness of the ingredients, especially the falafel. Most everything on the menu is vegan, however, they do have yogurt in the kitchen for non-vegans if desired. I will definitely be back!
