A vegetarian hummus and falafel restaurant. Offers a variety of clearly labeled vegan options including hummus plates and mezze. Open Tue-Sat 11:30am-8:00pm, Sun 11:30am-3:30pm.
Closed Mon.
We did take out from Falafel Place (white plains location). The presentation of the food was nice even in takeout containers. Everything tasted fresh and nothing was too spicy (we don’t like a lot of heat - just avoid the little hot peppers!!) and the falafel were not garlicky (so no lingering garlic taste - yay!). The hummus was quite nice and flavorful. Lots of vegan options including a nicely prepared cauliflower appetizer. The best part of the dinner were the delicious pita breads that were thick, soft, and warm! The perfect pita for dipping into hummus. The falafel hummus platter was a nice step up from just the falafel and hummus. It included a nice tomato cucumber salad, a tasty cabbage salad, and pickles. I would recommend the platter over just the falafel and hummus.
Would give it 5 stars if I could (the restaurant is not fully vegan so the highest I can give is 4 ⭐️). Delicious, fresh and vegan friendly/knowledgeable staff.
I just came back from Israel and was craving falafel and pita. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the flavor and texture of the falafel and pita at Falafel Place are. Not quite as good as in Israel but it is very good and the pita was so fluffy and delicious. They need to add more pickles and shug but I can’t complain! I would definitely come back again.

Best Food in White Plains! - Edit
Hummus, falafel, cauliflower are all delicious. Yummy butternut squash soup. You can get bowls or pitas.
Read moreMany gluten free options - almost everything except the pitas. Nearly everything is already vegan or has a vegan option.
Fresh, high quality food every time I've been.
Very reasonable prices for the area.
Small place, only seats a few people. Mostly takeout.
Pros: Vegan options, Gluten-free options, Fresh & delicious
Cons: Not organic as far as I know
