Not worth a visit - Edit
Used to go here, But they now have meat. Since Oslo has a lot of fully vegan falafel shops l, this is not a place to go.

NOW MEATY - Edit
I wanted to leave one star but Happy Cow adds and extra for being “fully vegan or vegetarian”, unfortunately Falafel Me is neither.
Read moreIt used to be that they just had dairy in a couple of sauces, and even if the food was low quality it was at least a good deal for the price. Needing some cheapish food I went here lately with a friend and was pretty disgusted to see they now sell various meat dishes, and the kitchen is now shared with the grease of dead animals. It was never great before but at least seemed clean, now I don’t even want to look at the board.
Avoid this place if you are against animal exploitation and murder. Thankfully some days later I found a much better and wholly plant-based falafel van just along the street, and I would encourage all vegans to go give your money to King Falafel and taste the absolute best falafel wraps in town!
Pros: none
Cons: NO LONGER VEGETARIAN

Not impressed - Edit
After hearing a lot of great things about the falafels here, I was dissappointed. There's hardly any seating inside, and it has a kind of cold atmosphere. During winter it's even so cold inside you'll have to keep your coat on! As for the falafels, they weren't by far as tasy as I'm used to at many other places.
Read moreThe staff wasn't exactly friendly either. I wouldn't call them "rude", but not exactly smiling, friendly and helpful either.
There are definitely better places for falafels in Oslo!
Pros: Quick
Cons: Cold

Not bad, in a pinch - Edit
As a long-time resident of the Middle East it's a little bit painful to see anyone selling pre-made falafel that sit in a fridge, and which they fry up for your order. Falafel should be handmade from fresh ingredients, prepared to-order, and served posthaste. It's really not that hard.
Read moreStill, it wasn't especially bad or anything. If you're stuck and need a veg bite while you're in the neighborhood, it fits that bill.

I picked up a vegan falafel here, the staff was super nice and translated what was needed and made sure it was totally vegan for me (mind you, I ordered in English and they made an effort to speak to me). Wonderful place, highly recommend it!

Big nice falafel roll - Edit
We went there for a falafel roll and were satisfied, nice quality and size. Affordable price for Oslo. Don't forget to specify vegan and not vegetarian.

A solid falafel joint - Edit
I went here with my family for lunch during our trip to Oslo.
Read moreIt's basically your standard falafel joint. The falafel was ok but I've had looots of better falafels at other places. Easy, cheap, lots of food, tastes ok, don't expect to much.
I would go here again if I needed some cheap and easy food.
