Nutritious, filling + very tasty meal - Edit
Great place that focuses on falafel (though half the menu has other dishes). I had the kale burger, which comes with one huge kale flavoured falafel in a bun with different fresh fillings and tasty sauce; and the fala sandwich with the sweet potato and the spicy falafels. Both are a great mixture of flavors and textures (the falafels are very crunchy when fresh), and big portions. I am looking forward to trying some of the other dishes.

I loved the kale sandwich! The kale provides a nice tang to the rest and the falafel was nice and crispy on the outside and there was plenty of it. The falafel sandwich was also nice and it was fun to choose 2 of the 5 falafel flavors to include. I liked both the spicy and the sweet potato falafel. The portions are huge so 1 sandwich is 2 meals. It was so much food that I saved some for later, but I think the falafel is best fresh out of the fryer.
Read moreAlso got the strawberry donut. It was really good and came with some whipped cream on top that made it seem like strawberry shortcake. The chocolate chip cookie was also amazing - crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside.
Staff were super friendly and gave a full tutorial on the menu and restaurant when I said it was our first time. I also like the free water at the entrance and the outdoor seating.

Great food, had the southwest burger and partner had the tacos. Really fresh and delicious. And they threw in a little side of Brussels as I couldn't decide if to get them or not. I highly recommend!

Fala Bar has wonderful, falafel plates, falafel sandwiches, sweet potato fries their homemade hummus and tahini is delightful. But even more importantly are the vegan donuts and chocolate chip cookies , vegan, or not, these are the best donuts and chocolate chip cookies she will ever have in your life!

I love this place! I got the kale burger, which had a great tangy flavor because of the cabbage and the burger had a lovely crunchy texture with great flavor. The server at the register was so nice and helpful - I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back to try something else.

Read moreis best when it’s hot so next time I’ll order it on pita and eat right away. The donut was the BEST vegan donut I’ve ever tasted. I’ve had many in LA and none compare. My partner and I savored one bite each for several days it was so heavenly!!

Best staff, even better burgers - Edit
The gentleman manning the register was clearly VERY knowledgeable of their menu, their ingredients, how they made items, preference of combos, etc. He was passionate and so helpful and allowed me to taste one of the sauces I was questioning. Overall I ended up choosing the Kale Burger and a cookie and both were absolutely fantastic. The flavors in the burger were exactly as he promised, not to mention extremely beautiful when they cut it in half with all those colors. I highly highly recommend this place. Also, love the food hall vibe and seating!!

I loved my falafel dish and they have a fully vegan menu, although my friend got a dish that was a little too raw for his liking (unspiced chickpeas and kale) most options are pretty substantial and tasty, the main issue was the almost 30-minute wait times.

Delicious falafel shop located in Public Markt! The food was filling and delicious. Fala Bar knows how to make a proper falafel! I was very pleased to find this all vegan spot on my last visit to Santa Barbara. Public Market needs more vegan options!

Pleasantly surprised! - Edit
I am not sure what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised by Fala Bar. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and made a recommendation for their kale burger . It was delicious! Big portion but I loved it so much I ate the whole thing!
