Tasty but pricey dinner in beautiful setting - Edit
The restaurant has 2 fully vegan dishes (1 appetizer with mushrooms and 1 grilled cauliflower entree) which were both tasty plus 1 vegetarian salad (vegan optional). They were very accommodating and the setting was super pretty and upscale but the meal was extremely pricey especially for a bunch of vegetables.

Cons: Only 2 fully vegan dishes , Overpriced for vegetables

Wonderful vegan afternoon tea - Edit
Afternoon tea at the Fairview is a delightful treat. There is a separate vegetarian tea menu and everything can be made vegan (gluten-free as well if desired). The food was all delicious; ironically we were least impressed with the actual tea itself. But the savory and sweet treats served more than made up for that!

Great afternoon tea, mediocre dinner - Edit
I have to write this review in two parts - one for afternoon tea and one for dinner.
Read moreAfternoon tea was absolutely extraordinary. Definitely not cheap (65$ for vegan menu, 70$ for regular menu), but definitely worth it. I loved that they had a separate vegan menu with scones and spreads, finger sandwiches, and desserts. My favorite was the carrot cupcake! The experience was so decadent and satisfying. 5 stars for the afternoon tea.
Dinner was a little underwhelming. There were very few vegan options - 1 salad and 2 side dishes (local mushrooms and asparagus risotto). These options were all tasty but overpriced and not very filling. 3 stars for the dinner.
Service was friendly and the atmosphere was unparalleled.
Pros: Afternoon tea is a must!!

If you’re desperate - Edit
Ate here during a recent visit to the Canadian Rockies. Only one vegan meal on the menu, a burger with chips. The burger bun was burnt and tasted like grill cleaner. Unfortunately there isn’t a lot of vegan options available in town, I self-catered for the majority of my stay due to such limited options for vegans.
Read morePros: At least 1 vegan option
Cons: Overpriced , Ordinary food, Pretentious setting

Hey there, I wanted to know how did you manage to get catering? I am vegan traveling to Lake Louise and banff this summer. Thanks for the tips.
