My friend and I loved the tacos so much. The tortilla was perfect, and it was so flavourful. I got the plant-based meat. It was amazing. The guacamole nachos were good, too, and I loved the watermelon daiquiri. I had a sip of my friend's and I wasn't a fan, I've had better.

Went here with my partner looking for good food and a nice drink. Didn't find either. The mushroom fried rice was bland and flavourless without the promised plantain or coriander. The enchilada was also disappointing, and the 'strong' sangria was watery. Do yourself a favour and go to Zambrero across the road instead.

Making a dish vegan means charging $2 to add this bland... mush. And the food is already pretty bland. The fried rice that I ordered for its plantain doesn't have plantain. Very expensive for the little effort that goes into everything. This does not carry the torch for Latin food.

Ordered the Nachos with vegan mince and the Mexico Lindo Fried Rice with wild mushrooms - was so delicious omg! Highly recommend. Took the vegetarian partner and he loved it too.

Not many vegan options anymore - Edit
Went two weeks ago and the old vegan menu they had doesn't exist anymore. They don't have any mock meats. They only had beans and some mushroom tacos. Not worth to eat there anymore.

The place is very cute and provides live music but the portions sizes are quite small and we had to go somewhere else after because we were still hungry 😢

Creative vegan choices - Edit
This is a hidden gem in the Newtown vegan eating circuit! It's a great spot for something different from your usual breakfast fare. Our coffees came with sweet little biscuits that our server specifically told us were vegan! We both ate the vegan big breakfast: scrambled tofu, black beans and areppo. All three components were delicious and also went well together. The atmosphere here is also positive. It's definitely "vegan friendly", even if sadly not vegan-only. And the only place I know of in Sydney that has good, vegan South American food - that's worth something!

Fun, flavour and fiesta! - Edit
The atmosphere here is well crafted, from fixtures to music; a friend I was dining with commented that she felt like she was on holiday.

Whilst vegan options are mentioned on their standard menu, be sure to ask for their separate Vegan menu as it has more choices, and helps guarantee the staff know to make your food vegan (as there are non vegan options sold here).
On a hot night I'd really recommend the lime and mint frappe, very refreshing.
The breakfast menu looks good with lots of options, so I'm definitely planning to come back again.

Cons: Gets noisy as the place fills up.
