Confusing labels

The other day I noticed that they have a Madeleine with a vegan label... Then saw that it contains eggs and dairy... So there's a mistake, that leads me to suspect other vegan labels might have been put on non vegan items

Nice place

Part of the exki chain. We went here because we were not that hungry to go to a restaurant. It is a nice place and they have some vegan options as well. They are clearly labeled. Staff is friendly.
Among the options you can choose bread, salads, pies and soup.
If you just want something quick, healthy and not too difficult this is a nice place to go.

Exki

This place saved me from the trouble, since I couldn't find a place to eat, and it surprised me. The food was healthy and tasty.

Healthy but expensive

Although options vary, this place offers a lot of vegan options. All of them are really healthy, although quite expensive.

Pros: Healthy food

Cons: Expensive

Barely vegan breakfast

If you're looking for a vegan breakfast spot, don't bother coming here. There were a couple disappointing options and a lot of things that could have easily been made vegan (chia parfaits, for example) were not.

Probably better for a plastic wrapped lunch.

Pros: Many around Brussels.

Cons: Plastic wrapped everything. , Barely any vegan breakfast options.

Ok sandwich

Had the Gabriella hummus sandwich. The bread (gluten free) was really good and the filling was kind of nice but also kind of weird. Really liked the fact everything was labelled really clearly on the fridge shelves so I could tell at a glance what was vegan (dark green dots). There was another sandwich, some salads and some soups too. Canteen style a bit odd but worked ok.

Pros: Good labelling , Good price

Cons: Not loads of options , Canteen style

Not good

I tried 3 different meals and was bad.
Really bad.
I don't know how they make it taste like that.
Had the hummus sandwich
Tofu sandwich
And something with rice and vegetable
And all finish in the trash.

Convenient chain

This place is great for someone who is on the go in Brussels, all the vegan options are clearly labelled and there is quite a bit of choice. I’d love to see more hot vegan options but the soups and salads are great with lots of flavour.

Wouldn’t let us use the toilets

After ordering and paying for drinks at this café, we wanted to use the toilets and were asked to pay 2 euros for it. As we didn’t have any more cash on us, we asked again if we could use them which they refused. This is the first time we experience such bad service at a café/restaurant. The staff appears to not care about their clients. We will not be back.

Cons: Service

convenient

I'm really glad that this chain is so prevalent throughout Brussels. There are not a ton of vegan options but everything is clearly marked, and it's very convenient if you need a snack or a quick lunch to pop in and grab something without worrying whether it's vegan or not. I had one sandwich I didn't really care for but I also tried a couple of soups which were really delicious.

Pros: convient, vegan options clearly marked, multiple l

Cons: not a lot of vegan sandwiches, no vegan hot foods

nice quick lunch, not so much vegan options though

Some vegan salads, sandwiches and soup available. Vegan options are clearly indicated. (and no vegan desserts - except for fruit salad).
But still, an enjoyable lunch.
Self service. Lots of seatings in the back and upstairs.
Toilets were smelly and dirty though.
