Busy Sun afternoon and the service was still spot on keeping my water filled.
The buffet which is sometimes better than others. Yesterday they had several more veg options than usual. If Evergreen can do this daily that would be huge!
Keep up the great work and keep more veggie options on the menu! I lived 3 years abroad in India trying some of the best Indian food there in the major cities and throughout the subcontinent. I'm pretty particular about my Indian food!
I feel Evergreen sets the bar high.
The owners here are from Hyderbad in Andhra Pradesh in central India.
I city I have been and a city known for it's famous biryani!
Many vegan options to be had.
The buffet had:
basmati rice
saffron rice
pakora
potato curry
tofu, mushroom, and pea curry
two types of dhal including one with spinach
and a chana masala along w/ nann
Some options were labelled as vegan but clearly weren't. For example the chicken pakora was labelled vegan. I asked and apparently this is because the batter is vegan. Also, the green veg pakora sauce has buttermilk
Wanted to love this restaurant and support a local Indian business, but unfortunately was let down. My standards also might be too high because I have an Indian partner who cooks delicious Indian dishes for me haha. But that being said, there was barely any flavor and no spice or heat in any of the dishes I ordered! Hoping to give this place another chance though in case it was just an off day.
My husband and daughter love it here. There are always vegan and vegetarian options. But I often find the food too spicy, i'm sensitive to too much heat. Sometimes I have a good meal here an other times the food is just too hot and I don't enjoy it.
Good customer service, good food and good prices. The lunch buffet is typically hot and fresh and has many plant-based options. Also staff are knowledgeable and helpful with making vegan choices.
I have found Evergreen to be quite accommodating. Vegan options are clearly indicated. Their thali dinner option has several non-vegan components. When I commented on this wistfully to my dining companion, the waiter overheard and let me know they could make me an all-vegan thali. I've had this twice. It's a lot of food, tasty and filling. The main downside is that they don't have brown rice.

Delicious Indian cuisine! - Edit
I love their spinach dal! And they told me that their garlic naan is vegan as well.
