Nice and delicious bento boxes - Edit
I had some time to pass before my train left and stumbled across this deli. I love that everything they offer is vegan, so you really have a lot of choices and are not limited to 1/2 options!
Read moreI had a small bento box with a potato salad, a glass noodle salad, tofu, some kind of pasta salad and one more thing that I didn’t know. Everything was really delicious and you can try a bunch of different foods in just one box, which I loved!
Pros: everything vegan - lot of choices, really delicious food!
Cons: kinda pricy for the amount of food (but worth it!)

ALL VEGAN BENTO - Edit
Great to have such a convenient and affordable (799 yen for this box) bento experience. Lots of options can grab before getting on the train or like me if you are exhausted after a day of sightseeing grabbed one and took back to accommodation for low key but yummy dinner.

Delicious and so much variety - Edit
After being on the train all day with nothing to eat, it was nice to finally find this place (exit after the Shinkansen, turn at Seattle’s best coffee). We chose two different bento boxes and a muffin. We both loved the bento boxes. They were selling various combinations at different prices so you could chose what you wanted based on how hungry you were. They also have wraps.

Delightful! - Edit
Was amazing to be able to grab a fully vegan bento to get on the shinkansen with. It’s a little off the main path, tucked back with a few other bento places - but was easy to find after reading a couple reviews. The whole bento was great. If I’m ever in Fukuoka again, I’ll definitely make sure to grab another!

Vegan Bento in Hakata Station - Edit
Something I can only dream of in Tokyo.
Read moreLarge variety of cute Bento boxes, you can easily take on your Shinkansen trip.
I ended up getting a burger for a quick meal and a Bento for later before I got on the train to Itoshima.
The place was hard to find in the busy station, so I followed the guide from another review here.

Nice food on the go - Edit
This place is really convenient if you are traveling or need a quick lunch and don't have time to eat at a restaurant or make something yourself. They have several locations in Fukuoka and some in other cities. The bentos have a good variety of small dishes, although there doesn't seem to be much difference between the different types of bentos. They also sell baked goods such as cookies and muffins which make for a nice dessert or snack.

Convenient vegan bento in JR station - Edit
Look for Evah near the Mister Doughnuts and Seattle's Best Coffee. Has a variety of vegan and macrobiotic bento boxes, salads, and snacks. Perfect for the train - or go up to the rooftop garden above the 10th floor of the JR Station building.

Decent vegan bento - Edit
I was super pumped there was a vegan bento here for me to take on the shinkansen! The place is quite difficult to find so give yourself plenty of time. I asked an info desk for help but ended up using Google maps within the station to finally find it. Food was just ok but very convenient!

Best food in Fukuoka - Edit
I ate food from here throughout my week in Fukuoka. It's delicious food. The flavours are amazing. Great prices! I always ended up buying more than I needed. It's the kind of food that makes you wish you lived nearby!

How to find it! - Edit
Really great foods. Hard to find in Hakata Station. DIRECTIONS: go to center of station where you will find "Information" and opposite that you will see an obvious Seattle's Best Coffee shop. Go to SBC, then turn left and walk 5 meters, then turn right, walk 10m then turn left. It's on your right. Excellent food and they open early.

It was okay - Edit
We tried 4 different bentos (2 big ones and 2 smaller ones). The rice was very dry and i really missed some sauce. The taste of the bentos was okay (nearly tasteless). To be honest, i regret buying not just one for myself. It was my first bento ever and i hope it usually tastes better.

Cold food - Edit
Well, I really wanted to like this one like everyone else. They do have a great selection and the bentos are cheap, but: everything is cold. I'm pretty sure the food would taste so much better if it was fresh and hot. I'm just not a big fan of eating cooked food cold.
