I was recommended this place by a local. What a fantastic experience! It's so homely, beautiful food and the warmest family staff! I had a veggie pita, minus the cheese to make it vegan & yuca fries (definitely try these, yummy!!). Staff really knowledgeable about veganism and the pita was made with a beautiful homemade lentil burger, lots of veggies and fresh avocado. I recommend visiting here for the Colombian hospitality and homely feel😄

This is a must visit in salento. Alejandra is such a friendly and caring person. I felt like I was having dinner at a friends house. She was chatting with me while cooking my dinner. It’s a small space with a homey feel.

Wonderful place! Intimate atmosphere, friendly service and everything really top quality (we asked for vegan dishes and there was no problem, although the menu "vegan" is not there). For the first time I tried coca leaf tea - delicate and delicious! Coffee AMAZING! And everything very cheap... worth it!

One of our favorite meals in Colombia! Alejandra serves up delicious food in a really awesome little restaurant. As another reviewer said, it’s really more like eating in her kitchen than in a restaurant, especially if you sit at the bar. Alejandra and her small staff are a joy to watch, we planned to stop in just once and ended up coming back the next night. A lot of the dishes include butter or other dairy, but Alejandra can cater to vegans as well.

Flavorful and refreshing. Definitely a great option for vegetarians in a town full of meat. You can't beat the price for the menu del día- I had a yummy onion cream soup, a small side salad, french fries, rice, veggie patie with salsa, a small cookie and fresh mixed fruit juice all for 10,000COP (or less than $3.50 USD!!)
