If you’re a vegan in Santorini, you NEED to stay at Ethos Retreats. They have another location called Ethos Suites, which is ideal if you desire a gorgeous room and complimentary vegan breakfast in the heart of the city.
But Ethos Retreats is for the person that wants to RELAX in their own private villa with 2 bedrooms, a huge outdoor patio, and private pool and experience authentic Greek hospitality.
My husband and I can’t speak highly enough of our stay. The property was stunning, with stunning ocean views in the front and a view of the volcano in the back. The villa was modern, clean, large, and 100% eco-friendly. The pool was the perfect temperature and size. The location felt remote and quiet while still being just 10 minutes to both Oia and Fira (the top spots in Santorini)
We loved the entire team, which was small but mighty. Our point of contact for the entire stay was with the owner, Artemis, who provided us with the most luxurious hospitality and meals we’ve ever experienced. We felt like we had access to our own Greek mother while we were there. There was complimentary, surprise, large breakfasts every morning that were made from actual PLANTS from her garden — no fake meats and junk.
On top of that, there was on-demand room service all day made fresh and quickly upon request. We were also provided with honest recommendations for vegan food all around the island for when we were out and about, we never felt lost.
She also had different experiences you could choose from, like a sunset dinner and cooking classes. We chose a 3 course private dinner and LOVED it. Next time, I’ll be doing a cooking class for sure!
She arranged for our transit and activities upon request, and her recommended vendors were kind and prompt.
If you’re thinking you won’t use all the space the villa provides, trust me you will! We used the top bedroom as our closet and the bottom one as our rest area. We enjoyed the entire patio everyday and I loved taking a morning run alongside the ocean overlooking the volcano. It was the quintessential Santorini vacation I dreamed of — romantic, peaceful, and fun.
My husband and I reached peak relaxation and decided this would be an annual trip for us and where we stay moving forward!
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Ethos!
We loved hosting you and meeting you!
Give us such a pleasure to hear that you have enjoyed your stay with us.
See you soon!
