Very good savoury food but very expensive - Edit
Ethos is fancy and nciely laid out. It uses a self service buffet system with 90% of the savoury food being vegan. Your plate is weighed and charge accordingly. A big plate of savoury food cost me approx £18. The food was good, something was rather spicey that hadn't been marked so but the sauces and dips were especially good - almost reminded me of Heathers!
Read moreThe desserts are only 30-40 % vegan and not so interesting. The cupcake was typically topped with excess sugary icing and though the raw cakes were good they were nothing special given how good they are at other comparable places.
We had two meal, four cakes, one smoothie (which was good) and a small pot of tea and the total came to £61 which I consider too much!
Pros: Good savoury food choices, Savoury dishes mainly vegan, Friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Expensive, Most desserts not vegan and rather too sugary

I come here when I want to treat myself. The food is priced by weight so be careful. But most days I've been here it's been great.

Nice food, expensive - Edit
We ate here in Oct 2017 and I am finally posting the review. Lots of good vegan food choices, but very expensive. We loved the buffet concept, but $100.00 for 3 lunches with no alcohol is absurd.

Ethos - Edit
I always eat at Tibits when I'm in town but saw Ethos was quite similar and thought I'd change up my routine a bit. I would have given Ethos an extra star if it wasn't for the fact that there were little vegan offerings (compared to the mass amount of vegetarian dishes). But there were so many empty bowls for the vegan offerings too (that they hadn't refilled while I as there) so I didn't get to try everything. Ethos desserts were actually very pretty and I ended up purchasing a fancy chocolate dessert, but when I brought it back to my hotel, I found that the cake part was very dry and the mousse was pretty bitter. That said, I can't say I was impressed with Ethos, but I'd try this restaurant again and see if it's better.

So good, I wanted to eat everything! - Edit
This place offers a HUGE number of vegan options. Salads as well as hot dishes, all interestingly-prepared. And then there's the cakes! They charge £2.30 per 100g to eat in - I filled a plate and it cost around £8.50, which I thought was pretty good value. The food was fresh and healthy. It's 5 stars from me!

So expensive! - Edit
This place looks nice, but the food isn’t anything special and because you pay by weight is costs about double what you would expect.

Delicious vegan options! - Edit
Initially, I was disappointed that there weren’t more vegan options but on second inspection of the tickets, I realise virtually all of there cold options were vegan and the hot vegan offerings still had great variety.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
There were lots of vegan options (hot and cold) but not as many vegan deserts. Only complaint was that some of the seasoning was too salty... would recommend the cocktails (especially the espresso martini)

Went here for breakfast because the other place I wanted to go to was closed.

In general it was pretty good and simple. Nothing mind blowing but still good.

Vegan delight! (Veggie dishes too) - Edit
Really nice, bright and natural setting. Beautifully laid out plates of buffet style food. Vegan food is clearly labelled, and the ingredients for allergies/intolerances too. You load your plate up - there's a mix of hot and cold options. Weigh and pay. Good mix of seating from window seats for those sat alone. Booth type seats for couples, and a few larger round tablea for groups.

Clearly labelled vegan items and good choice of desserts - Edit
Been here a couple of times as it's centrally located, not far from Oxford Circus. The concept is pay by weight. The buffet offers mostly salads and desserts with some hot dishes.
Read moreReservation possible. Dishes refilled between 12 noon and 5pm. Haven't tried their afternoon tea or bottomless Prosecco Sunday brunch. My recent favourites were the BBQ seitan and roasted peanut coleslaw.

A nice central vegetarian restaurnt, 5 minutes from Oxford Circus with delicious food. However, it is easy to overpay because the food is charged by weight.

Delicious food and great atmosphere - Edit
I went to Ethos for brunch at the weekend and now want to go back every weekend! The shop exterior was decorated in christmas tree braches that framed the windows looking in to the heavenly tables of food. The waitress that greatest us was very sweet and also imformative of the pay per weight system. When we went over to choose our food, everything looked so good and luckily we could try a bit of everything because of the buffet serving style. Compared to other pay per weight vegetarian restaurants in London, Ethos is more affordable but also a lot tastier. I'm definitely converted! It's also so much either to get to, as it's just off Oxford Street. The decor is classy and modern yet also comfortable- the trees and the marble tables make it so pretty! Vegetarians, vegans or even meat eaters will love this place..couldn't think of a better place to eat in London.

Style and substance that also includes great food. - Edit
Really well laid out and stylish place which actually has substance. Dishes are vibrant and tasty, there’s clear ingredients on each dish too which is great. It can be a bit pricey if you’re not mindful of the weight. I have been left a few times with mild stomach upset from this place tho, which very rarely happens to me in other places.

Amazing choice! - Edit
I loved ethos, I thought the interior of the restaurant was really cool. There was extensive amount of hot and cold vegan options which I pretty much selected all of and the cakes and deserts looked amazing. I had a caramel peanut slice which was like millionaires shortbread and my friend had a chocolate peanut butter cake which so gorgeous!! The only downside is how pricey it is, I had a fairly good size plate which was £14. Although pricey I would still come back.
