A lot of options but a bit bland - Edit
The place had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff was friendly, the menu offered a lot of options but my tempeh sallad w peanut sauce was really bland. Got the wrong amount of change and had to point this out (300 short).

Great Breakfast and Excellent Dinner! - Edit
The house muesli (which is made up of oats and dried fruit and seeds) served with fresh tropical fruits and coconut cream.
Read moreA MASSIVE bowl of fresh deliciousness! Neither of us could eat it all and we arrived having not eaten yet at lunchtime!
Panaeng Curry, specified medium spicy and it was AMAZING! So full off flavour and the perfect amount of heat (I don’t like too much heat but also don’t like to lose flavour by ordering mild).
Decor is relaxed, cosy. The seating options are tables with chairs as well as floor cushions and tables. You do need to be able to get up a couple of decent steps to get into the shop. They have a bathroom available to customers.
Edited to add: We ate here several times during our stay and mostly it was incredible. 4/5 rather than 5/5 because we did have one unfortunate experience with one member of staff. Just be aware of what notes you are using to pay the bill. An attempt was made to deliberately short change us 500THB. The rest of the staff were lovely and honest and I don’t feel this incident was a reflection on the business rather a bad call by an individual, who we didn’t actually see working there again?
Pros: Clearly labeled vegan food full of flavour, Relaxing atmosphere , Book corner!

Don’t eat here unless you love bland health food. Had an average dinner and tried again for breakfast only to be disappointed. Thai food is full of flavour, this is not.

Nice small restaurant close to famous Khaosan Road. Went there in the evening, which was lovely. Not too many people there and cozy atmosphere.
Read moreThey have many traditional Thai dishes, salads, desserts, kombucha and much more. I’d say 80% of their food is vegan.
Payed 160 bath for a huge portion of noodles with heaps of veggies in a thick sauce and a kombucha.
Would definitely go again!

Falafel And Smoothie - Edit
I ordered a papaya and coconut cream smoothie. It was delicious, I wish I would have ordered without sugar though. I ordered a falafel platter for my main dish and it was really good. My friends enjoyed the museli and pancakes as well. Will be back for more!

It’s fine - Edit
Food is fine and not too expensive. It’s a bit grubby (I regretted looking in the lampshade and sitting on the cushions 😐) and the service is pretty slow.

Didn’t think anything special of the pad Thai when I came here. Prices quite expensive compared to Mai Khadee just down the road and not better then there. Portions were good, but that’s about it.

Great healthy restaurant - Edit
We were in luck to have Ethos next door from where we were staying. My bf and i really needed the vitamines/healthy food they served. They do a great Kambucha, shakes, pancakes, juices, muesli, porridge, curries and other Thai dishes. I wouldn't recommend the tempeh burger though. The service was ok (not really motivated), they use environmental friendly materials such as paper straws and you can take your leftovers to go.

Really good vegan food! - Edit
Great food, great atmosphere and great portions sizes! Every time we leave Ethos we leave feeling full and satisfied. The pancakes are absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend. The only down fall is that the homemade kombucha comes in such a small glass even the large size, it’s such a refreshing healthy drink so it would be nice to have a full glass.

This hidden jewel in along a backstreet is not to be missed. So many delicious Vegan options with large portion sizes it will not disappoint and have you going back for more. Curry’s, coconut smoothies, porridge and pancakes and many more at a fair price. One of my favourite Vegan restaurant in the world yet.

Interesting pseudoscience - Edit
Whilst the food here is great, the menu is interesting, to say the least - lots of pseudoscience warning vegans about the supposed detrimental effects of consuming tofu and soy milk. Would recommend visiting nonetheless - big menu with lots of varied choice. We tried both their Thai and their Western dishes and everything was tasty - their signature apple crumble is absolutely massive and we couldn’t even manage it between the two of us!
