Deelicious Vegan Ethiopian Meal - Edit
This place is amazing and needs to be on your list of vegan places to get to.
Read moreThe waitstaff is very knowledgeable about the food, and knows what vegan is, and will tell you if something has egg or dairy in it.
The Vegetarian Sampler, or platter for one or two, is huge. You get an appetizer (similar to samosa) two types of beans, two specialty dishes and 4 types of veg, with all the injera (yummy bread that is like a flat idily, with a slight sourdough taste) that you can eat.
I like to order some of the extra dishes on the side.
Pros: Great Service, Great Food, Large Quantities for Price
Cons: Not the best of neighborhoods, The carryout container could be more eco-conscious

delicious vegan Ethiopian - Edit
The veggie platter is all vegan and you can't go wrong with this for two people or more. It's tons of food! There is also a gluten free bread option, if needed. Ethiopian and Kenyan beers available by the bottle. We went on a Friday night and there was a gentleman playing live music. Highly entertaining and added to the atmosphere.

Ethiopian Diamond II - Edit
My boyfriend loves Ethiopian food, so we've been hitting a bunch of these restaurants up recently. We recently dined at EDII and like its sister location, it did not disappoint. They have a pretty extensive vegetarian menu, and as I recall, all of those vegetarian items are actually vegan. I opted for the veggie platter so that I could try a number of items. I noticed that I liked most of the vegetable based items rather than the lentil based items, which I think is entirely personal preference, as my bf preferred the opposite. If you're in the mood to try a different cuisine, I say give ED or EDII a shot, the food is unique and will not disappoint.
