Honestly, the seitan kebab was so delicious! And they had vegan mayo as well for the meat and the fries. Would come back. Highly recommend!

I go to Escondidinho everytime I'm in Mafra. Their food is amazing, just simple portuguese confort food made with tofu/seitan. Also love their style!

Come here very often, has a few vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. My favorite is the traditional portuguese dish "Francesinha".

It is a nice place to have a meal and be with friends.

Vegetarian and vegan options are clearly marked (as for all allergenic options), makes it easy to choose.
The food is nice and the staff is friendly. The portions are just right.
No vegan desert options available.
However the appetizers toasts are not vegan and that is not marker, so be careful.

I enjoyed eating here - sure, it's a lot of fake meat dishes but it's just mimicking what you would get in a traditional tasca so I don't see an issue. It's pretty unusual to find good vegan options in this kind of typical Portuguese restaurant. Don't go to eat in a tasca if you want whole food😉Good sized portions for a reasonable price.
