They don‘t know what is vegan - Edit
So the menu says there is a vegan burger and baguette but only if you fully read the menu then you will see that the bread is made with eggs. Other than that there is not much of an option. We took two tacos and they tasted like nothing, not seasoning no salt it was the worst that I had so far. And labeling something as vegan and only saying it is not if you read to the end of the side and also only in spanish! feels like a scam

They have sparse vegan options. The few options they had they were out of that afternoon. They are friendly and thoughtful (staff) and the store nextdoor is cute.

Very tasty food but slow service - Edit
We arrived and greeted some people sat at a table. We were a bit confused after a while who was serving so we went back and asked the people and turns out they were the waiters!! The service is really slow but the food was amazing hence the 4* rating! Definitely come here when you have time for the vegan ceviche which was the star of the show. When bringing out my tea the guy said "this is a tea of..I have no idea what" which was actually laughable, just say tea :,)

They lie about vegan options - Edit
The menu says the burgers and baguettes are vegan but when I asked them they said the bread was not vegan (???). They lie to vegan people about the options and they don’t care if you get food poisoning. This should be illegal. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOURE VEGAN.

great atmosphere, mediocre food and service - Edit
I went here on a day when it was slow; there were only 3 other tables in the massive space. The restaurant itself is charming, with terraced outdoor seating areas and a stage nearby for live music.
Read moreThe food was bad and uninspired. The vegetables and cheese were supposed to have been grilled but came out just above room temperature, and the cheese had no grill marks on it all. The vegetables were similarly just kind of thrown together. I had already eaten most of my food before my drink arrived, and I had to go hunt down someone to remind them to bring it. Guanajuato does not have many options for vegans, but this one can still be skipped. The service was friendly enough, just disinterested and prone to disappearing for loooooong stretches.

Amazing atmosphere and food - Edit
We just happened to see their eco boutique when walking to another restaurant and shifted our “plans” I cannot express how fabulous this place is. They have live music and community events, lots of vegan options and the decor and atmosphere is adorable and cozy. Their eco boutique has so many incredible artisan products. Even sauerkraut, which is so helpful when traveling and eating new foods. And they are very committed to green initiates like grey water system, dishes made from up-cycled glass, etc. we will be back soon!

I especially like the broad bean soup. We bought the last one. LUCKY! Also recommend the brown mushroom potato with salad, the fried brown mushrooms are particularly juicy. It doesn't look like a regular salad, because it is mainly brown mushrooms and potatoes. The proportion of green leafy vegetables is not much. A few slices of avocado are added, which is very suitable for me who is not a salad person!

Beautiful ambiente, perfect to have a drink or a snack! There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options. We had a salad, a soup and the portobello burger without cheese! There was nothing else in the burger than the portobello. No salad or veggies. And the soup was okay but nothing special. The food is good but a bit boring which is sad because everything looks so nice

As the atmosphere and their description was very pleasant and nice, we expected the same of the food. But the portions were quite small for the prices and it was very little seasoned/spiced. Only the Guacamole was really good. Staff was okay. We were a bit disappointed. But at least we could enjoy the atmosphere and the nice location.

The people there were very nice but I don't agree that there are good vegan options. Actually very few vegan options. I ordered a salad with a side of beans and tortillas. It was about the same as I would make home. Totally unimaginative. The presentation was nice. The salad was quite small. As was the side of beans. I would only recommend this place if, in a pinch, you couldn't find another that was better.

Recommend sitting on the bridge so you can people watch. Tis fun. Cool that they have vegan cheese. The mushroom baguette was hella tasty. Nice fresh side salad too. Menus both in English and Spanish which helps me cos I'm rubbish at Spanish :')

Es un lugar con mucha alma, con terrazas, plantas y botellas recicladas incluidas en las paredes. Muy acogedor. Buena atencion también. La comida es fresca y sana. El menu viene con opciones veganas en cada categoria. Solo no habia postre ese día... Lo que me gusta es que el lugar y la comida son coherentes.

The space is very nice with a good view. Very close to Diego Rivera Museum. There were quite a few clearly-marked vegan options on the menu. There was some confusion with our order and the staff accidentally made us something more expensive that we didn't ask for, but they agreed to let us pay the cheaper price which was nice. Food was OK but nothing special.

Good Veggie Meal ! - Edit
My family ate an early dinner here - it's a tiny place with limited seating, but they squeezed us in among the small happy-hour crowd. They have a full bar with many wine options - I enjoyed the house red. I had the "ensalada multicolor" and it was excellent - artichoke hearts and all. My daughter had a cactus/bean taco, which was fine (a little dry, we didn't realize we had to ask for cheese). My husband had a good bean soup and a veggie burger - portabello with pesto and cheese - very tasty!
