Decent food marred by awful service

This cafe has a great location and some veggie and vegan options. We’ve been twice and, sadly, the main waiter is very unfriendly and missed items from our order each time. We won’t be going again.

unhelpful for dietary requirements

What’s worse than someone answering your question about what’s vegan on the menu with a shrug and just ‘vegetables’…when the vegetables aren’t even vegan! I asked why they had a fish allergen and they said it’s because the veg is fried in the same oil as the fish and they couldn’t do anything at all about it. Also, they said the bravas weren’t vegan, although some other reviews say they were told it was. It’s fine if there are limited vegan options if the staff are kind and helpful, but personally I found them unhelpful which surprised me based on the other reviews. The hummus was tasty though

Good options

Nice tapas restaurant right in the centre with some decent vegan options. I had the lentil hummus (super tasty!), padron peppers, olive mix, and patatas bravas with a spicy peach sauce.

Pros: Good flavours

Cons: Few vegan options

Lovely hummus!

Although there are not too many vegan options they were all pretty good! The hummus here was excellent, probably the best thing. Veggies were nice too. Worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Pros: Lovely staff, Very centric

Few but yummy vegan options

Nice, laid-back place. The patatas bravas were actually vegan, the aioli sauce is an emulsion only with olive oil, garlic and spices. Hummus was delicious, grilled veggies nicely assorted. Had a good launch with sangria too.

Expensive for what it is

Had the hummus, grilled vegetables and patatas bravas. Food is ok although very oily, and the grilled vegetables were mostly potatoes! Portions are good in size. Each item is pricy. Could have many more options!

Pros: Portions are big

Cons: Expensive, Not enough options

Very knowledgeable.

Food was OK. But it’s a great location. Happy to know that there’s a tapas place in Valencia that has so many options. A bit over salted but still good.

Fantastic tapas!

As a vegetarian, coming here was a huge relief! The usual Spanish tapas experience can be a little disappointing as the menus are usually meat/fish dominated but this place was fantastic. We had patatas bravas with the special spicy salsa / sauce that the waitress recommended. Definitely go for this! It's delicious. We also shared the grilled vegetables (fresh & yummy) and then breaded cheese with blueberry marmalade.

Pros: Delicious vegetarian tapas , Friendly service , Great portions

Super quick nice staff large portions but only a couple of options.

Very romantic outdoors outdoor dining on a quiet street, waitresses speaking perfect English and negotiating our way around the menu. Settled on the hummus and the fried shishito peppers, and a salad. But that’s it I don’t really see how this restaurant is listed on HappyCow because it really doesn’t offer options in the way that we should expect in 2019.

Super tasty fried vegetables!

Visited with meat eating family and everyone enjoyed their food! The fried vegetable dish with asparagus, courgette & onions was especially good!

Pros: The fried vegetables were super tasty !

Cons: Only a couple of vegan options.

Good food, fun atmosphere

We went last night based on comments here and I’m glad we gave it a go. However there are some updates to previous posts. The menu is an all-in-one now with a legend of icons to indicate items containing allergens (including dairy, egg, soy, gluten, seafood). There was no separate vegan menu. Second, the hummus may be delicious, but it is not (or no longer) vegan as it indicated a dairy allergen. We did get the Valenciana salad without tuna, the olives, and the Sarten Verduras, which was my favorite.

Pros: Clearly marked allergens, so you know what is veg, Large portions and super fresh, Outdoor seating

Cons: Not as many options to choose from as expected

Excellent tapas, drinks and dessert

I took my meat eating boyfriend here for our first ever tapas, sangria and agua de Valencia. It was seriously excellent - the choice of veggie tapas was great and apparently the pork was very good. I would definitely go again!
