Just not great - Edit
I might be partial since I tend not to like GF baked goods but I just haven’t found anything that good here. Everything is dry or overly sweet or weirdly textured. To me their baked goods taste “vegan and gluten free” instead of not being able to tell the difference

Best vegan/gf donuts in LA - Edit
Absolutely the best v/gf donuts in LA (and that’s actually saying something in this town!) really love the tea cakes too, but truly everything is amazing! Super nice staff and cute little shop. I have been using the Babycakes cookbook for years. Erin McKenna is the OG v/gf baker and her creations never disappoint!

Great OG gf/ vg spot - Edit
Back in the day Erin mckenna’s was at the forefront of the gf and vegan scene! They get major credit in my book from the days where I could never find anything. Still good- some tastes a little GF.. but the fact that everything here is gf and vegan makes my life easy and delicious.

Delicious breakfast - Edit
Came here for the first time from the East Bay, and OMG, the food was so yummy. We had the pancakes, breakfast sandwich and biscuits and gravy. All tasted so good and freshly made. I would be back next time I’m the area.

Pricey but good - Edit
The entrees are tasty here! I love the biscuits and gravy. The pastries are expensive, but that’s expected for Montana street. Wasn’t impressed by the cupcakes but donuts & coffee cake are pretty good for being gluten free! Interior is cute & some extra seating outside. Metered parking nearby.

Amazing donuts 😍 - Edit
Tried a maple donut and the vanilla donut. Both were incredible - fluffy, perfect texture and level of sweetness. Only wish I could have tried some of the cakes! Love the pink and cutesy interior 😍

Lots to Choose From - Edit
Tons of sweets and an all day breakfast and lunch menu. Loved the breakfast sandwich(!) and can’t argue the variety of vegan options available.
Read moreSticker shock on the pricing though. Cupcake $6.95 and a small slice of cake $12. Been to a lot of vegan bakeries in big cities (including the Erin Mckenna’s in NYC) but this one literally takes the cake for pricing. No prices are shown on the sweets case so just beware when ordering.

Just ok vegan desserts - Edit
I think this place is overrated and I’ve had better vegan sweets. The Brooklyn bites were too sweet for me, the maple donut was just ok, and the veggie bomb and the cheddar biscuits were on the dry side.

All vegan and gluten free - Edit
Great selection, a little expensive but amazing for those who are gluten free. I’m not gluten free and I don’t like the cake like texture of the donuts as much as regular fluffy donuts but there are a lot of other great treats too!!😋

Great selection - Edit
I came here with my nonvegan family and they loved it. Even my brother, who usually hates vegetables, gobbled down his salad. There was a large selection of vegan baked goods. I tried several and they were great! Also the mocha was absolutely heavenly. The decor and ambience of the place was amazing too!

Great vegan gluten-free baked goods - Edit
I am so happy that I found this place! I thought the baked gluten-free goods were delicious. A lot of times, you can tell something is gluten-free, but I could not in this case. The coffee cake was delicious and decadent. They also offer donuts. I will say that the donuts were more like cake, and not the classic donut; but it was still very good. It is so difficult to find a gluten-free place that has good baked goods, so I was glad to come upon this. We loved the outdoor seating as well, which is good to avoid COVID spreading. The one minus is that it's a little pricey, so it may not be for you if you're on a budget. Other than that, I highly recommend this place.

Vegan GF Paradise! - Edit
As a vegan who tries to stay gluten free, this is the perfect indulgence!!! We had a chocolate cake for my boyfriends bday and the biscuits and all was AMAZING. I can’t speak to the prices though since someone else paid. My guess is a bit expensive but for an indulgent treat that’s still GF, I’m very happy about that 😋

Erin McKenna’s Bakery - Edit
I had the chocolate eclair and it was really disappointing and very expensive. The pastry was dry and gritty. The cream inside was passable but not the best. Overall, this was a pretty disappointing dessert at $10…I would not go back.

Rude and Not Safe - Edit
The most disappointing thing about this place is not the fact that the employees are shockingly rude, stuck up and not helpful, or that the prices are ridiculous… or that the atmosphere is uncomfortable, (they have loud music BLASTING most of the time and it is painted an alarming horrendous pink color).
Read moreThe most terrifying thing about this place is that they are UNSAFE with the way that they handle the food. I have repeatedly asked them to use tongs when picking up the food during COVID and TO NOT not pick up the food with the same gloves that they’re touching the register with. The owner and I disagree on the importance of that apparently, as she has not trained her employees to be safe, respectful, and kind.
I became a vegan to support kindness compassion and a healthier eating lifestyle. This place does not stand for any of those values. I don’t even know if the owner is vegan herself. She certainly does not act kind and considerate - nor do her employees.
That’s a shame. Save your money.
Cons: Not COVID safe, Overpriced , Rude
