Great vegan options! - Edit
This place was great for vegans. The whole ‘vegan & vegetarian’ menu is vegan (all 100% plant based), and even had a vegan lava cake dessert which is very rare. Instead of paying €20 for one portion of paella get the option for 2 people which is exactly the same but overall cheaper price. Loads of veg in the paella and good size. Decent pricing for Marbella. 🌱

Not recommendable - Edit
There is an extra vegan/ vegetarian menu, but it is not distinguished between the options. We orded the vegan Albondigas, but we are pretty sure that they were made with meat. After asking the waiter he said that they are made from lentils with a lot of spices. But I am pretty sure that me and my boyfriend can both differentiate lentils from beef.
Read moreWe also had the vegan paella which tasted very good, but instead of 20€ as in the menu it had cost us 34€ for two persons. This price is not justified, as the portion was pretty small.
Moreover, we had to pay 2€ per person extra, just for the „service“ which was not mentioned anywhere.
Pros: Live music
Cons: Sold meat as vegan option and lied to us, Too expensive

Would not recommend - Edit
If you spend €20 on the Paella like I did then you’re just as stupid as me.
Read moreIn all seriousness, not great paella, also burned and served in charred pan. If it was €10 I’d be more lenient but still only think it was about a 4/10 or 5/10 Paella. So for €20 it says a lot, unfortunately.

Few options, but good ones - Edit
They have a vegan menu, which helpfully says "all items are free from animal products", so there's no guessing about veggie vs vegan, but there are no actual descriptions, and only a handful of options.
Read moreThat said, the veggie burger and paella are very good, and they have an amazing lava cake.
Live music, but they do end up competing with their neighbours for that 😛

Highly recommend - Edit
They have a special vegan menu and everything we ordered was delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant. The server was super nice and the atmosphere is cozy. Sunset and sea view and live music on Saturdays, plus a fire warming thing for if you sit outside

Just okay - Edit
They had a separate vegan menu (ask for it, they don’t give it right away) with some vegan dishes.
Read moreI took the vegetable paella and it was okay. Little bland, nothing spectacular and not the best vegan paella I’ve had. Was it bad? Not at all, would I go there again? No.
The crispy roll appetizer was 6 euros, too expensive for 4 little rolls. I wanted the vegan lava cake as well but it was 10 euros so that was too expensive for me.
Pros: Separate vegan menu
Cons: Pretty expensive, Food wasn’t that great

Good Vegan Paella - Edit
I really appreciate the separate vegan/vegetarian menu. I was disappointed by the appetizer we ordered, €6 for 4 very small bites of the rollito Entonces, I wouldn’t personally recommend. The vegan paella was good! Other menu options included 2 types of pizza and pasta. Wish the menu explained a bit more what each dish had in it. Owner was very friendly but the waitress we had wasn’t very warm or welcoming.

Lecker vegane Paella - Edit

Best vegan paella in town - Edit
Delicious food. Vegan/vegetarian menu. Best (vegan) paella in town. Excellent lava cake (fondant de chocolate). Restaurant is on paseo (great for people watching) and overlooks the beach and the Mediterranean. Indoor and outdoor seating. Fabulous owner Marco. (There is no vegan-only restaurant for miles up and down the shoreline; this is about as good as it gets, and it's rather superb.)
