Serves meat, vegan options available. Small restaurant run by chef Yuko, who trained in Europe and speaks English. She knows vegan cuisine and has given vegan Japanese cooking classes. Seats 10 inside plus 6 more outside in good weather. Dinner reservations can be made upon request, with a minimum of 2 people. Email kihila@hotmail.com ahead of time, and Yuko will arrange to provide a vegetarian or vegan meal with dishes like vegetable soup, pizza, pasta, various breads, hummus, desserts. Open Mon-Thu 8:30am-4:00pm, Sat-Sun 8:30am-4:00pm. Closed June and for two weeks in Dec.

Chef Yuko is awesome!

I felt like I was in grandmother's front room on the mountainside, being served delicious comfort food. Not only is there a real brick oven pizza on site, Yuko cleverly incorporates local ingredients that can't be found anywhere else. I had an incredible 4 course meal complete with tofu panna cotta and fruit preserves, making this a culinary adventure! It also reflects her travels and places she's experienced with an assundry of cookbooks in the dining area you can flip through while waiting for your meal.

I want to give it 6 stars!!!
