Delicious spot for everyone - Edit
Absolutely love The Empire, it has great seating and really good food. You HAVE to try the mushrooms on toast, there’s some great varieties of mushrooms (the deep fried mini mushrooms sprinkled on top are incredible) that are all cooked really well, on delicious sourdough with a divine aioli sort of spread, and coveres in nutritional yeast. The mushrooms on toast is my favourite of the vegan brunch options, but the corn fritters are lovely too. There’s vegan lunchtime options that are great too (the mushroom burger 🤤). Drinks are delicious, I love having an iced chai, there’s heaps of plant milks available. And the smoothies, most are already vegan and are so good and filling. There’s often vegan options in the cake fridge too. And there’s great options for the non-vegans that make it a perfect spot for mixed dietary groups.
