Finally tried dole whip - Edit
Cute shop in a very cute downtown area. I got a strawberry pineapple twist which was light and tasty! They also had mango and raspberry flavors that could be made into a twist as well. A little pricey but not many options in the area.

Best vegan soft serve - Edit
It is a cute tiny ice cream shop in the main portion of Lake Placid town. The soft serve was so thick and creamy. The flavors they had when I went were pumpkin and salted caramel soft serve.
