Great food! Sep vegan menu! But double check that the stuff is vegan! - Edit
I got the buffalo bites and the sere! Buffalo bites came with ranch and buffalo sauce, and I asked about the ranch and it was not vegan!!! Good I asked bc I would’ve [censored] my pants if I didn’t— kinda annoyed that it was on the vegan menu but didn’t come out as vegan, and they didn’t mention it otherwise. But it was good. Sere was fantastic, traditional Belizean food and so so good. Overall great, but just double check that stuff is vegan (hope they improve on this)

UnBelizeable - Edit
So good. We had the veggie curry with coconut rice, beetroot pasta, and Mayan onion rings. They have a special all vegan menu just ask! Great margaritas too!
Read moreUpdate: we went back for lunch and it was just as good. Got the Buffalo cauliflower wrap and the enfriolada (black bean sauce on a flour tortilla style enchilada- think wet burrito). While they advertise vegan ranch, the sour cream on the enfriolada is dairy so be sure to ask (even though it’s on the “vegan menu”). Still amazing food, best we’ve had in Belize and the cocktail mixology is next level good!!!

Favorite in San Pedro - Edit
Separate vegan menu with choices for lunch and dinner. I had delicious curry and sere for dinner (separate nights). Also returned for lunch our last day and had coconut ceviche and a side of rice and beans. Great frozen coconut mojitos. 3 meals in 5 days- definitely our favorite. Was also our favorite 25 years ago on our honeymoon!

Very good vegan options - Edit
There aren't many choices in San Pedro, so to have a fine restaurant with a separate vegan menu is a gift. I went 3 days in a row. The curry is fantastic and I tried 2 of the wraps, which were also excellent. Delightful option!

The best curry! - Edit
This is a busy place, but with delicious food! They have a vegan menu, but you have to ask for it. And some of the items are lunch and some are dinner and they don’t label which are available when. Just ask what they have. We started with vegan ceviche made with coconut meat, peppers, onions, and corn chips. My kids devoured this!
Read moreI ordered the vegan curry, my kids had the beetroot pasta with corn salad. They finished everything, and the curry was the best I’ve tried. It was a sweeter curry with banana and raisins in it - you have to try it to understand how delicious this combo is.
These were really unique dishes and really well done. The service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. More high end service than most places here. The food was timed perfectly. I braced for a long wait after previous reviews, but it was quite quick.

Vegan curry - Edit
It's a very popular place so you need to expect longer waiting times, a waiting list, and high prices.
Read more🍛I had a vegan veggie curry and it was incredible!! The rice it came with was heavenly, so we even asked for an extra serving of rice on the side, it was a great choice because we enjoyed this dish so much! So many different vegetables, the perfect seasoning, highly highly recommended!
The rice comes with fried banana on the side.
🥗For the not so good part- we shared the Elvi's Salad, it was very very small, it definitely doesn't count as a main dish if that's the only thing you're planning on having, and it's also very small for sharing. Mostly a lot of leaves, barley any tomato, cucumber or carrot, and when we splited the salad it fitted in the small banana bread plates we were given which says a lot... In the picture you can see half of the salad in the small plate. I would really recommend skipping this dish. Keep in mind that if you're planning on still getting it you need to order it without the cheese and the vinaigrette dressing to make it vegan.
As mentioned, the prices are a bit high, it's worth it for sure when it comes to the curry, but I might skip a first dish here.

Had tacos and coconut curry - both pretty good! - Edit
Food and service good, but the place was pretty packed and everything took a while even by island time standards. Also a bit expensive but it’s one of the nicer places in San Pedro

Nice option in town. Curry! - Edit
The curry was so creamy and delicious. Elvi’s is a great option if you’re in town— a couple of entrees on the menu were vegan or could be made vegan. Try the coconut curry and veggies over rice— so smooth and flavorful.

Delicious food. Great ambiance. Vegetarian Menu. - Edit
Delicious food. Great ambiance. Live music. Good vegan options. My husband and I split the quinoa and avocado salad. It was delicious! They were out of avocados so they gave us guacamole on the side to add to our salad. Lots of veggies in the salad. Dressing is amazing! We also had a vegetable curry. Is super creamy and very flavorful. It has a sweet flavor with raisins and fried ripe plantains on top.

This place was so good we came here THREE times! - Edit
We love Elvi's! It was so nice to find a place that actually had a separate vegetarian/vegan menu. This place is great for large groups or just the two of you. The space is awesome with sand floors and really cool art. They have an awesome drink list too. We ordered the bean & gauc burrito is well as the veggie tacos. The stewed beans are also amazing! This is a must visit if you are in San Pedro!

Full vegetarian menu - Edit
They have a separate veg menu with a lot of vegan and lacto-ovo options. We had a vegetable curry with raisins, plantains, and coconut rice and the fried tacos and loved them both. Started with the grilled street corn on the regular menu. A little expensive but a treat to eat great Belizean food with so many vegetarian options.
