Beautiful Cafe with the warmest welcome - Edit
Where do I start? My partner and I were holidaying in Skye and as vegans from Glasgow we had struggled to find vegan options on the island. We found this gem on happy cpw and popped in after a morning of walking for coffee. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. The cafe is beautiful and Maggie informed us she had vegan soup and bread. We couldn't resist. It was delicious. We loved it so much we popped in the following day for coffee and vegan cake. Absolutely delightful!

so lovely :) - Edit
It's one of the cosiest and loveliest places I have ever been. The dining room is a room in the owner's house and she makes the food in her own beautiful kitchen, everything is home-like and designed in an artistic way (it is art cafe not only from the name). The owner is one of the nicest people we met in Scotland. I could stay there forever ;) We tried only cakes and coffee (delicious) because unfortunately, we came just before closing. The menu has a few vegan options, I wish we tied the mains.

Lovely veggie oasis on Skye! - Edit
We stopped here as a much needed break from self-catered meals during our holiday. It's the only veggie place on Skye and conveniently situated between two of Skye's most popular attractions: The Quiraing and Storr. Lots of vegan options including starters, mains, hot drinks, and cakes. The atmosphere is very cosy. The hot chocolate was one of the best I've had for some time. Definitely worth a visit if you're planning a trip to Highlands/Islands.

Relaxing atmosphere, very good food. - Edit
I was afraid I had taken a wrong turn when I followed the signs for Ellishadder, but like a lot of places on Skye this is a bit of a hidden gem.
Read moreThe food was great, too bad they don't do dinner!
Plus, when we left, there was a cat waiting to be let in the door. That was a plus for us, because being on holiday we missed our own cat!
Pros: Good food, Quiet atmosphere, Cat
Cons: They don't do dinner

An absolutely lovely place - Edit
I stumbled upon this cafe by chance, not knowing if they would have anything for vegans at all. I just thought it's a nice little cafe in a beautiful setting. So it was an extremely positive surprise when I found that they have soya milk, a vegan cake and vegan mains too (actually it doesn't say anywhere in the menu or on the website that it's vegetarian but as far as I remember it actually is). I had the hot choclate and vegan cake and was very happy. The whole atmosphere is just lovely.
