Can make any burger gluten free and a good selection of vegan burgers. I had sticky cauliflower wings and onion rings. All which were great.

Two vegan options. I went for the beyond burger. Paid extra for a slice of vegan cheese, which I thought was a bit cheeky. Burger was tasty but nothing special. We came at a very quiet time, and it took a while to get seated, and we ended up going to the bar to order as nobody served us. The order came out wrong 🤣 but they fixed it straight away. Wasn't a terrible experience, but they could do to try a bit harder for customer experience. Maybe the waitres was just having an off day. Also, the menu didn't specify that the burger my bf ordered would have mushrooms on it on the menu... and I feel like people either love mushrooms or hate them (personally, I love them!), but ingredients should be very clear on the menu purely for allergen purposes, and this wasn't. Decent cauli wings, but not worth the 7.50 euros.

Always nice burgers here. Nothing special really, but tasty nonetheless. Plus it's not very expensive. Staff is always nice too. I really like they have a vegan starter, vegan burgers and a vegan dessert.

They offer 2 vegan burgers and several vegan starters. Tasty, solid, good. They ask if you want vegan cheese which is 2 € extra. The menu has obviously changed since the restaurant was added (see photo, Jun 2023).

Went here during our visit in Brussel. 2 vegetariens and 2 vegans. We all chose the beyond burger. They where tasty, fresh, big. We had some tasty side dishes.. The lemonade and ice teas are also very good

My partner and I had both had a the vega beyond burger here with vegan cheese. It was really delicious with lots of ketchup! The fries were okay but not great hence 3* instead of 4*. Overall it was good and I would recommend.

The place itself unfortunately isn’t vegan, which makes me feel a bit uneasy (always worried about a possible switch in orders) but their Beyond Burger with vegan cheddar is really very good (gluten-free bun is an option). But what was absolutely amazing was their cauliflower “wings”. Absolutely genius!

we shared the vegan mango pie with vegan ice cream for desert which was very nice but way too sweet
overall very nice food but service is pretty slow and food is a bit pricey :/

I have been to Ellis Gourmet Burger several times since going vegan as I simply love their vegan options. I have tried the Sticky Cauliflower Wings (this is a must have) and am in love. I have since even tried to recreate it at home. They have a beyond meat burger that I had to double check with the waiter if it was the right burger because I actually thought it was meat. Finally their sweet potatoes are to die for, mixed with their vegan mayonnaise!!

The Beyond Meat burger was excellent. A good bun too - not brioche and not cheap soft bread. Great to find chips cooked in vegetable oil in Brussels. They exist, but can be hard to find. The chips came with vegan mayo too.

Although there are only a couple of vegan options - the Beyond Burger or the Holy Shiitake (mushroom patty, beautifully-cooked woodland mushrooms, and a pepper sauce) - they did not disappoint. Great bun, perfect burger composition.

One of our party, a meat-eater, got the Flower Wings and loved them! We returned the next day and tried them - perfectly cooked cauliflower, in a crispy batter and just the right amount of slightly spicy sticky glaze.
They have a vegan dessert (a layered blueberry pie) but we didn't try it.
Great option especially if dining with omnivores who would prefer meaty options.

I went with a couple of friends on a Tuesday evening. One of my friends, and I, are vegan, while the other one is not. We went in and I wasn’t sure if it is self service or not. The guy behind the cash said hello and After greeting him back, i asked if we can sit down and if we should order next to the cash or if he would come to our table. He said we can sit and he is coming. We sat down and after 15 mins of waiting, no one came to our table. We changed the table(due to the heat) and after another 10mins, still no one came to serve us. BEAR IN MIND, we were sitting inside and although outside was busy, there was only ONE other table with customers inside and most of the waiters were just making jokes behind the bar. Finally we decided to go directly to the cash and order ourselves. When the food came, we were pretty underwhelmed! Me and my vegan friend had the beyond meat burger of course(since it’s the only vegan option) and our non vegan friend had a meat burger. The portion was pretty small and the burgers came without any sides. The sweet potato fries we had ordered at the side were €4.50 each while the beyond burgers were around €12 each. I know it’s supposedly a ‘gourmet’ restaurant according to its name but it’s still too expensive for what you get! After we were done eating, we were left with our plate on the table for another 15mins and we just decided to pay and leave cause we were too disappointed. We went to the cash to pay our bill, which also took a very long time because the workers were chatting with each other. Although I love and appreciate the initiative of adding a vegan option to such a place, I was very disappointed with the service and their prices!

We got super hungry on a Sunday at 10pm and happened to find this place. We had the beyond burger, which was satisfying but a bit colorless and boring compared to other beyond burgers I’ve tried. It was still quite tasty, just not the best burger I’ve had.
