Okay for breakfast - Edit
We had an airbnb nearby so we decided to have our breakfast at elk before traveling home. Unfortunately they have not a lot options for breakfast: only an avocado toast and hummus with thin wrap slices. Both needed seasoning. The coffee was good though. I liked the interior and the garden, which were both beautifully designed. But there was one thing which really bothered me: the food coasters smelled like urine?! I don’t know why, but it was really annoying.

Cons: Smelly coasters, Too little options

Had the winter salad which was great. Well balanced with quinoa, seeds, veg and greens. Has everything you need from a meal.

Delicious vegan options for lunch/dinner/breakfast: avocado toast, vegan meatballs in a tomato mush, hummus, bowls with fruits, seeds and granola.

Good but… - Edit
Not considering roasted potatoes, salads and smoothies, vegan options are limited (basically only avocado toast and a plate of vegetables with beans burgers). It’s ok for a snack, but limited for a complete lunch. Anyways everything is tasty. For a brunch, I had an avocado toast and a delicious mini banana bread with orange juice (22€ euros, hummus was also included but it was finished)

Nice place - Edit
The place is really nice, the vegan savoury options are good, but there’s basically no desserts. Just fruits or coconut yogurt with poor dressing. Vegan pancakes are so easy to make, why not prepare them as well? The place is getting better over time anyway so keep up! Also better to reserve a table if you can, it’s very crowded.

disappointing - Edit
We were on our way through and had only limited time. So we hurried 25 minutes through verona (with suitcase) to eat something there. I asked what vegan was, because i didn't see a map or labels. The employee told me that there‘s nothing vegan. It was very disappointing because he didn't seem to understand "is there anything vegan?".

Cozy and friendly staff - Edit
The place is nice. But the vegan options are limited. The coffee was ok but cheap. The avocado toast is too expensive for what you get. It tasted only ok. The staff is very nice and welcoming.

Limited vegan options - Edit
Coffee is ok but never served warm enough. Only has soya milk and you have to pay extra for it. Vegan croissants are delicious. I have never tried the avocado toast because it’s 9.50€ which is probably overpriced for one or two pieces of toast with avocado on them.
