A gem not to be missed on a trip to PV - Edit
What a gem! I went there twice during my week in PV. The menu is limited (toasts, tacos, bagels, cakes and smoothies, but that's more than enough for breakfast & lunch. Everything tastes fresh and flavourful. Lovely staff and decor (the terrace offers much-needed cover and fresh air in PV!). The chocolate cake was a wowzer.

Best Vegan Chocolate cake in PV! - Edit
What a great find! Totally vegan cafe with tacos, bowls, smoothies and healthy drinks! The only vegan chocolate cake I have found in Old town restaurant, hidden away in little square off of the Pier street. Closed at 5 pm and closed on Mondays I think. Will be back! Please support. The family cafe is committed to vegan lifestyle. You can also pick up matcha green tea and organic I believe raw cocao powder there too. Please support this gem!

This amazingly friendly family owned vegan restaurant is exactly what the world needs more of. Such a calm and peaceful vibe all around. Today, we tried two smoothy bowl and they were both delicious. The coffee was also great. We can’t wait to come back in a few days and try something else. Based on our first visit here, we both can’t say enough about it.
Read more2nd visit, we tried the tacos; they were ok but we thought they lacked flavours, hard to distinct the 3 varieties.
3rd visit was a big win with the garlic mushrooms toast and sweet toast along with the avocado and sweet variety served on corn tortillas as a gluten free option.
Also, The smoothie were amazing.
Overall, this place is a must when in Puerto Vallarta.

Pros: Too many pros to mention
Cons: A bit tricky to find; but please find it. , No gluten free bread for celiac sufferers but the, Breakfast toasts can be made on corn tortillas

Tried the garlic mushrooms on toast, and avocado on toast. Both were great, and I felt full. Had the water of the day (melon) to wash it all down. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Will be back - probably tomorrow!

Best Açaí bowls in town! - Edit
We visited Elixir Spot several times during our last trip. Great for breakfast and lunch! The Galaxy Açaí Bowl will fix any hangover right up! Their trio of tacos were also quite delicious. And you can never go wrong with avocado toast. The outside patio is very cute and centrally located in Zona Romantica.

The smoothie bowl I had was so good and the presentation in the coconut bowl with the wooden spoon is perfect attention to detail. You taste and see the quality and it’s hard to choose just one item so you must keep going back to try everything!

I’m amazed Elixir Spot hasn’t got more reviews; it’s a great spot and is almost always busy. If you’re in Romantica during the day, there’s a many options within a 2 minute walk of here but I still repeatedly return.

Outdoor and indoor seating is available and both with big fans if it’s too humid. It’s a family run place and everyone is extremely friendly with the completely vegan menu.

Wholesome hospitality & dreamy smoothie bowls - Edit
One of my favourite spots in PV. Of course, the smoothie bowls are wonderful. And I love a mushroom or hummus sourdough toast for brunch. But we keep returning because of the outstanding welcome and hospitality of Omar and his family. There's outdoor and indoor seating, with a small shop selling plastic-free wares inside. You'll find pop-up yoga some mornings here, too. Buena vibra!

We just did a road trip from S.F., CA to P.V., MX, and hands down our Favorite Spot! Had dental work done and felt like I needed to detox. They nourished us with beautiful food and lots of love! The owners are a gift from the heavens. Elixer Spot was the highlight of our trip!

Aside from indoor seating, they also have a few tables outside under a beautiful tree. My friend loved his avo toast and also the soy tacos. I had a smoothie bowl which I enjoyed but I'm guessing that they blend and then rehfreeze so it took a while for it to soften. Located in a touristy section where there's not many other options and it's hidden in a courtyard of the main track so it's more quiet.

Cute and clean place with excellent kombucha. The smoothie bowls are huge. The avacado toast is WAY more exciting than it sounds. These people rarely care what they are feeding you and so willing to help with what ails you.

Small place serving smoothie bowls and vegan tacos. Selection is limited and prices are reasonable. I ordered the açaí bowl and the serving size is generous so the price becomes reasonable. I ordered 4 tacos and they are small but the price tag is also cheap. Prices are very well balance with what you get serve in terms of portion size and flavor.
