Great place to eat on Block Island

I’ve been to Eli’s twice, and both were really good experiences. They have a vegetarian menu (separate page - ask for it) with about 4-5 appetizers and 4-5 entrees. When I asked which could be or are vegan, our server said the chef is good about making whatever dish you want to try work for you. I got the grilled eggplant entree, which was over roasted potatoes and garlicky bok choy with a zhoug (sort of like chimchurri) sauce and microgreens. It was excellent! The non-vegan version had a potato and cheese cake instead of roasted potatoes. Their bread is also amazing. Super cozy, small restaurant, not loud, easy to have a conversation.

Pros: Large vegetarian menu, will adapt most to vegan, Nice atmosphere

Cons: A little pricey. Entrees about $27-$29
