No longer offering vegan choices… - Edit
Server explained to us that while they used to offer vegan choices, they stopped doing this a while ago. They still helped me stay with our mixed group by grilling some veg and making a salad without cheese. Probably need to remove the listing from HAPPY COW.

accommodating to vegan needs - Edit
Although not listed on the menu, they made me vegan tacos with a mix of stir fried carrots, peppers, onions and celery, with refried beans. They also bring out totopos with delicious hot sauce, beans and pico de gallo.

There are much better options in La Paz - Edit
El Zarape is reviewed here as vegan-friendly but the staff seemed confused. They had a menu card that said “vegano” and listed options. But the server said those dishes had cheese. We had a native speaker with us so any confusion wasn't due to our limited Spanish.
Read moreWe settled on some things and they turned out to be about 90% zucchini without much flavor. The rice tasted of chicken stock so we were afraid to even taste the beans. We don't understand how this place got good reviews.
Pros: On the Malecon
Cons: Not very tasty, Things marked vegano might not be, Excessive use of zucchini

Local. Affordable. Delicious. - Edit
Decent vegan menu but in reality everything else can be modified. Had red chilaquiles (just ask to have the cheese and creme removed - see photos) which were to die for and my partner had the vegan enchiladas which were also delish. All topped with excellent service. Would give 5 stars if I could...

Amazing vegan enchiladas - Edit
The vegan enchiladas are delicious! They veganized the dish as we asked. Costumer service is fantastic! The staff is very polite and attentive. Many of the dishes on the menu have a vegan version and they kindly veganize them. It's the perfect place to have vegan Mexican food.

No es buena opción vegana - Edit
Dice que hay opciones veganas, y la única que nos ofrecieron fue verduras al vapor con frijoles (guisados con manteca) y arroz. Eso no es un platillo, son guarniciones.
